Meanwhile, 12 plays this past year would give us damn near 14 points and 160 yards.

Thank goodness T-Bob snapped the ball when he did. Even with Jefferson not ready, it saved the game.

Absolutely! I saw him in Target a couple of months ago and almost went up to him and thanked him for that, but said "nah frick it".

Makes me not miss him more

Gotta love the attempt by Miles to substitute 3 guys with 15 seconds left and no timeouts.
With 2nd and goal from the 2 and 32 seconds left there are very few possibilities for 3rd down. Yet Les doesn't begin to make up his mind for the next play until the play is over.

I get that in the grand scheme of things, the Tenn game was yet another bungle of time and strategy at the end of the game. But, two things:
1) Tennessee handled it worse. 13 players left on the field is inexcusable.
2) 13 players is inexcusable, but caused because LSU didn't tip their hand. So, because Les didn't know what he wanted to do, we got an untimed down. Les's insanity won that game for us. It could have cost us the game, but it did the opposite.

LSU didn't have a hand to tip.

That last play was one of 5 errors Les made on that final drive, including pulling Lee after he drove the team down to the 2 yard line. There was also a classic delay of game that was immediately followed by a timeout.

Ole Miss 09 was the worst clock management (first away game as a freshman). We saved it with the Arkansas game following (walk off FG to send us to OT, and Tejada shanked it).
Unrelated, Auburn 15 was this in reverse.

Very nice Tennessee sports reporter wearing black pants in the 2nd video at the 1:10 mark.

i am so glad that we LSU fans don't have to put up with the bs poor clock management by Les miles anymore
The same Les supporting retards are the same ones supporting trump now. Someone has to monumentally fail on a massive scale so huge that it’s a national joke before they can pull their support. These people are literally 5 years late to every party and have no ability to see past their own partisan feelings and project into the future.
Most of us knew even before this loss that Les was not a good long term solution for LSU. That same scenario is playing itself out in national politics as well.

Without question one of the craziest LSU games ever

Crazy that we beat a really good Alabama team a few weeks later.

I was not even mad after 2010 Tenn because of how wild it was.
The heartache of tennessee fans around us in the stadium made me not hate that game like I should have.

Jordan could have been much more effective if he was allowed to be what he was - a really good athlete. Instead, Miles kept trying to pound that square peg in the round hole. Miles kept saying he wanted a dual-threat QB, but he never allowed him to be either: he didn't run much and wasn't a drop-back passer. Just an awful fit.
You know on paper, he's the physical specimen you'd dream up for a QB. 6'5 223, strong arm, running ability. But all the physical traits never came together on the field.
I always thought the focused on making him a dual threat QB way too much with the option stuff. His running ability should have really been more like Burrow in "strategic scrambles" here and there.
It probably wouldn't have made a difference but I do wonder sometimes if the development would have been different if guys like Jefferson and Harris had been groomed in a system like 2019 instead of being square pegged into the under center Miles offenses.
