Against who and at home are away say one game equal to jj's game .

A half does not count we play 60 minutes.

You people are obsessed and cannot admitt you are wrong.

Allot of your stats were after lee got us behind and we had to play catch-up against subs.
or inferior teams like troy.

We still play tulane and la-tech.

Aub. is much improved this year.

You cannot take a years stats and compare them to 4 games this year. The teams are different teh players are diff.

the comment about randle is classic ranter. If randle had come up with half of those balls, they would be youtube sensations.

We are telling you to look at the stats and you come back w/ this?

You have a point on not being able to compare offenses on a year to year basis if the ranking was somewhat close. But 51 to 91 is a really big gap. That's harder to explain.

To be clear I'm not saying that Jefferson will not be successful. In fact, he's a great athlete no doubt. I do not think they have done him any favors this year though. Furthermore, I feel they should truly commit to the spread and let this young man take off. But if they are going to do this i-formation stuff and power running they have to have a better passer. But, look I'm all for taking the reigns off Jefferson and lets see how good he can be. Wasting downs running straight into the pile at the LOS is certainly not helping Jefferson.

Lee 53.2 % passing 6.96 yrds per 13 tds 16ints

JJ 61.4 % passing 7.01 yrds per 7 tds 1 int.

JJ has over half of jls tds only 1/3 through!

It is rediculous to say the offense was better even with the INT becaus ethos einterceptions cause us alot of games.

Georgia 52-38 difference 14 points georgia points of of interceptions- 14

Alabama 27-21 OVERTIME 21-21 end of regulatioin
NUmber of pick 6's in regulation 1, and a INT in OVER time

So until our offense starts literally throwing games, lets not pretend last years was amazing.

Marcus Randall (former LSU Quarterback) said on the Morning After Show on Sunday that until we develop a resepcted consistent passing game we will not be able to run the ball. I'll submit to Mr. Randall's expertise on this subject.

so does he have a talk show?

All things considered, he is doing an amazing job with no running game and lack of protection in the pocket. It's hard for any QB to scan the field with the kind of pressure he is getting right now, much less a true sophomore with so few games under his belt.

I think they are going to need to keep more players in to protect in passing situations until their protection gets better.

So what word would you use if LSU was 110th in total offense? Great? Fantastic? Phenomenal?

At 105, he's not even servicable. Everyone in America says we're the most overrated team in the country, and they immediately point out the offense as why. And who is the leader of that unit?

This puts him significantly ahead of almost any QB in recent memory, probably going back to Hodson.

yeah he's the first QB at LSU to look off rec. since Hodson.

I dunno about that but the independent announcers on the telecasts this year have been pretty complementary of him. I certainly haven't seen anyone in the country outside of some die hards on the rant say:

Offense was better last year even w/ the INT's. This is just fact. I know most of you who wanted to blame JL last year will not believe this but you can look it up on espn.com.
offense may score more points, but that doesn't mean lee is better for the team

I think thats the quandry. We don't want to bench a 4-0 QB. But we dont like how we stack up. We don't like our stats. We dont like what we see on the field. We dont like to hear we're the MoST overrated team. Yet we don't even know if the other guy has improved? Its a crapshoot. Muddle along until we lose, then possibly experiment?

Great way to sway an argument, leave out the all things considered (his youth, lack of pass protection, lack of running game).

We are the most over-rated team in the nation & will continue to be so until the O-Line can protect & create a push. If the O-Line play can be fixed the QB play will be better, RB's will be better, Defense will be better. How about before benching JJ for Pick 6 we try to address the actual problems on the O-Line.

Do we have anybody who can replace T-Turnstile Hebert?

Can we keep a RB in to cover for the inevitable missed blocking assignments or overpowered lineman? etc. etc. etc.

The last thing you want to do with the play of the O-Line this season is to put Pick 6 in and tell him to win the game passing the ball with no protection. Disaster waiting to happen.

everytime i see him staring down a receiver he completes the pass. if your primary target is open then no reason to look off.

All he has time for is to look at one reciever. 3 seconds after the snap he either has a linebacker or defensive end all over him. Offensive line needs to step it up!
