Has anyone else noticed that Jefferson from the snap stares at one reciever. Bad things can happen when doing that. He should have about three or four interceptions to his name because of it, but I guess bad football teams can't make interceptions when the ball hits them in the chest. That's maybe another reason for Randle only having one catch is because he doesn't even look for Randle, except for about once a game. Bad things are to come for this guy, I hope I'm wrong, but he needs to scan the field better and he will be a great QB if that happens.

Sometimes.

But it has been universally acknowledged by several players, announcers watching the game, bystanders, people in the stands, that he has looked off defenders quite a few times already. This puts him significantly ahead of almost any QB in recent memory, probably going back to Hodson.

Offense was better last year even w/ the INT's. This is just fact. I know most of you who wanted to blame JL last year will not believe this but you can look it up on espn.com.

We are currently ranked 91 on offense after our cream puff openers. Last years team finished the season 51 on offense after playing the entire schedule.

I believe a lot of quarterback have this problem early on. It really comes down to experience. JL had this problem last year and it hurt him. However, even though Jefferson has done this, he at least has kept the interceptions down to a minimum. Give him sometime and he'll get it right!

Last years offense was a helluva lot better at all positions maybe with the exception of WR.

I'm more interested in the whole team.

ETA: I would have liked to see Lee get some meaningful game time.

Spec, though I agree you, however, the offense isnt terrible because of JJ. Our running game isn't as good this year. I believe this is the difference. Even if you put JL in the game in place of Jefferson, the offense isn't going to be blowing people out all of sudden. It might even be dangerous for JL and the team especially since the running game is suffering.

actually I'm shocked he's playin like this, how he improved doing the end of the year, he even looked off some Ga. Tech DB's in that game, along with his composure, and all the talk during the summer about him really coming along has me dumbstruck. he has regressed and is looking like a frosh again, still he is not making the mistakes Lee was at this time last year.

specs you cannot admitt you are wrong.

First jj looks off db's every announcer has noted that.

Last week you said he could not throw long.

JJ IS SOOO MUCH BETTER THEN JL.

Are you jl?

Our sch. this year was far tougher than last year
Wash. beat usc and had a let down Moo state is vastley improved.

and QB. Jefferson may not throw for 300, but he hangs on to the ball which is huge IMO.

Gotygers you are an idiot. But here's a link for you. Look it up.

'08 after full season, offense ranked 51

'09 after the cream puffs, offense ranks 91

LINK

Note, you will have to change to 2008 to see that year's stats. I trust you can handle that.

Why would JL get playing time JJ won the game for us 15-28 233 yards 2 touchdowns on the road in the rain.

specs, the season isn't over yet.... plus you can't argue JUST the QB makes the difference. What if we traded out the entire OL? Your argument is pretty illogical to say JL was obviously better when we had a run game that doesn't exist now. If every player was the same everywhere else, you'd have a point.

Specs, you don't have to call another poster an idiot because he has a different opinion. However, looking at the stats you must understand that everything starts with the running game. With out that, there is no way that Miles or Crowton is going to put JJ in a position to put up monster numbers. With this being said, I'll just take the win because the only thing that matters in the end statistically, is what is on the scoreboard.

I would have to say he is much better than most true Soph's after their 5th start, at not locking onto receivers. Certainly he is better at it than the more experienced QB that started several games last year.
