Offense was better last year even w/ the INT's. This is just fact. I know most of you who wanted to blame JL last year will not believe this but you can look it up on espn.com.
Does this also take into account the numerous touchdowns and awesome field position that were given to opposing teams by our starting QB?

Bad things are to come for this guy, I hope I'm wrong, but he needs to scan the field better and he will be a great QB if that happens.
Listen to me or else I'm

Sometimes. But it has been universally acknowledged by several players, announcers watching the game, bystanders, people in the stands, that he has looked off defenders quite a few times already. This puts him significantly ahead of almost any QB in recent memory, probably going back to Hodson.
THIS.
Ive heard the same thing watching all 4 of the games so far from the announcers how he looks off defenders, particularly safties.
He does tend to do this on those 5-7 yard quick passes. But I guess if the passes are quick he gets away with it if the defenders are off the WR/line of scrimmage.

Specs we played 1aa appy state a very bad aub.
and a very bad miss state plus we had a running game.
JJ 233 15-28 2 touchdowns. NO INTS.
Jl did not have a game that good!
last year vs miss. st. Jarrett Lee was:
18/27 261 yards 2 TD 1 Int.
Yeah, you're right, Jarrett Lee sucked in that game. Here's the truth...Jordan Jefferson has not played a good team yet. After the moo st. game last year everyone thought that Lee was our guy and he would have a breakout year...Then he started playing tough teams. Just watch and see.

So Georgia Tech doesnt count? But I hear what you are saying. He hasnt played the caliber of team in Georgia, Florida and other SEC powers. Agreed.
But to beat teams like these, you need a QB that is smart with the football, not just have an arm.

sorry, i disagree. from the snap, he is reading certain player(s) on defense, esp. safeties, seeing if he can get a favorable one-on-one match-up. does he progressively find all of our receivers? don't think hes had the time for that very often

JJ is just an average QB now he may improve he may not.All the hype in the offseason was unjustified IMO.He didn't do anything above average in his few appearences last year. The defense will decide how many games we end up winning.

JJ is a work in progress. Give him some time.
At this point, he's been good not great.
I have seen JJ look off receivers and I've also seen him stare receivers down. I think some of it has to do with his lack of confidence in his OL. Sometimes, JJ does things that make his OL look worst than they are also.
One big problem is the coaches simply don't have full confidence in JJ yet. Against MSU, we should have thrown deep ALL GAME LONG. That's what the D was giving us. The reason that it never "loosened" the box up was because MSU knew that we wouldn't continue to chunck it down the field. In the coaches defense, I think they know that JJ is an eratic passer and were scared of a turnover.
This week, they need to pull the kid gloves off and let's see just were JJ is.
As for JL, you can't compare the 2. I for 1 still believe that JL can be a good QB. I also believe that before this season is over, we'll find out how much progress he made because eventually JJ will get "nicked".

Completely disagree with this.
JJ is a complete upgrade at QB from what we had last year. Im not ready to crown him greatest qb ever nor am I sold on the defense, particularly the run-defense.
Year after year in the SEC teams need a two things to get to Atlanta
1. Good defense.
2. Good qb play.
From last year both have improved a little bit. But they both show signs of being REALLY good as the season progresses.

Jefferson definitely never looks at a secondary receiver. Any defense can see this and I don't understand why LSU coaches have not adressed it. If this continues Georgia, Florida and Alabama are going to have field days with interceptions with more long days ahead for our poor defense.

If you think that Jefferson never looks off defenders or checks down to other receivers you should stick to the OT lounge bc your opinions aren't worth the 10-cent blinders you are wearing during games
