No, he's technically right, but it's all semantics. In the fall, we say "fall back an hour" and in the spring, "spring forward an hour." So in the fall, that 2:30 Bama game time would have been 3:30 had the time not changed, i.e. we "fell back an hour" from 3:30 to 2:30.
The only people that should be embarrassed are the ones thinking this is something embarrassing for the governor, and I say that as someone who doesn't like how much he meddles with LSU most of the time.

Except that by merely changing what the clock says does nothing about the fact that the sun would still be out and as bright as if it were 3:30pm when the clock would say 7:30pm. So, can a game at 7:30pm (per the clock) really be considered as a "night game" in Tiger Stadium when the sun is as bright as a normal 3:30 in the afternoon sun?
