I am blown away by the complete change re his willingness to throw to covered receivers.
After his first year at LSU, I thought he would never play in the pros because of his apparent unwillingness to throw the 50/50 ball.
What an idiot I was...but I was not the only one. So thrilled for his success.

I really didn't think he could change that mind-set - was thrilled the next year when he fully blossomed into an unstoppable force....

this is just about as bad as the guys calling for him to be replaced. This is Preseason. It never is anything like the regular season. Not trying to take anything away from him, but I hear guys saying they have fixed the offensive line. There is no way to tell at this point. Maybe the last Preseason game they will play a quarter and part of another with the starting unit, but you can't draw any conclusions from this. Like I said, J Lee through for 500 yards in his only start in preseason...and was cut a couple weeks later...lol

I don't recall this. I remember him throwing for over 200 yards in a pre-season game, but that ain't quite 500.

I mean there is no reason to call yourself an idiot, your assessment was absolutely correct at the time. Very few players make a completely transformative change to their play in one year.
