Are you not watching the NFL this year? Jalen Hurts is doing extremely well with a very similar skill set.

They most certainly do when they are gauging delivery and arm talent.
You can have a slower delivery if you have elite arm talent. You can have lower than average for both.

What I am saying is that TT did not lack arm strength. He could physically make all the throws, his delivery was just too slow.

An NFL QB who isn’t even remotely as talented of a ball carrier as JD ran for 178 yards yesterday as his team scored 32.

Gimme a break with this take.

If he comes back he'll be the preseason favorite for the heisman

I was certainly not a fan of Jayden Daniels due to his inaccurate arm before the season.

I didn't trust his stats against Pac12 competition.

I was pisseed when he smiled when lost to FSU.

However, I learned he is always smiling, through victory and defeat, on the field and off it, and that he is a solid young man.

He is a the leader of this team. I have become a huge fan of the young man he is and the player he is still becoming. He gives his all and is going to be a winner at the next level. Will that be in 23 or 24, dunno but Jayden Daniels will get better. If he decides to go pro I wish him the best and certainly do not fault him for doing so. If he comes back, I could see Heisman and Natty.

Thank you for coming to LSU Jayden Daniels.

Oh... maybe I'm misremembering his specific scouting report on arm strength.I just know he had a very elongated release and shite footwork. Threw off
I'm just saying overall they look at the time the delivery starts until the the ball hits the wrs. It gauges delivery and arm talent. Your delivery can be a little long if youre making up the difference with arm talent.

And that qb outweighs JD by about 50 lbs. You do know JD is not big right?
Justin fields and Hurts weigh over 225.
JD is 185

I really hope he does, if the TAF could get a good enough NIL for him there's a possibility he might. He may not be Burrow when it comes to throwing the deep ball, but he's poised and isn't scared to run and make plays by himself. I just don't know if Howard will live up to the hype.

I have been watching cfb religiously for almost 3 decades... I have never seen a qb make such a huge 180 in play DURING THE SEASON like JD. That type of change usually happens in the off season.

I think he comes back too, but not for the reason u cited. I think he realizes next year could be really special, Heisman special, and wants to be part of it.

Have you watched the NFL since 1994? He is exactly what the NFL had been going to for a QB for a while. Now he is a little light in the arse but seems to be durable enough this season.

I don’t think Fields is faster.

Jalen Hurts is lb for lb one of the strongest guys in the NFL. Tree trunk legs and squats 500.

These players are nothing alike really.

He could be a first or second round pick this year if he keeps balling out

Remember when we shut down Lamar Jackson? Many people said the same thing ab his skill set.

Jayden will come back, but not bc his skill set doesn’t translate…bc he can go from 3,4,5 round guy to 1st.
