This is why I asked. I think in Ruston it's a 50-50 game...

That's not nearly as bad as it sounds....Army has a passing game and a damned good D for a service Academy.

So does Tech. It's kind of what they do.

I'll clarify. Army has a passing game to go with their flexbone rushing attack. They're a tough out these days.

Another miss by Les Miles

Hardly. His offer list alone refutes that. We signed 3 better DE’s and we were also recruiting Gerald Willis III.

Impressive player. Should be a high draft pick and find himself having a nice career in the league. Pass rushers are a hot commodity!

If he has a great combine Saints won't get a chance with no 1st round pick.

Serious question, how good is Tech? I had a friend tell me Tech could beat half the Big 10. I don't have any context but the size and speed of your athletes was pretty impressive

Half of the Big 10 is awful, and by half I mean almost the entire Western division, Rutgers, and Indiana.

Ummm...I was at the OU/Army game. Army runs the triple option like Georgia Tech...they had 45 mins time of possession to 15 for OU. Army is not known for passing....they threw the ball 8-9 times but had well over 250 rushing...they just ate the clock

They usually throw 1 or 2 times. Last week they threw for ~200 yards. That's maybe more than all of any of the 5 previous years. That's all I meant. Not that they were Texas Tech or anything....and also, lucky you!

When they do throw it the guy is usually open because they have 10 in the box to defend run. They converted 13/21 third downs and 4/5 4th downs. They just run 2-3 yards every play....it really is interesting to watch as OU simply could not stop them. Army was driving with 2 mins left in regulation and threw the ball...intercepted. Otherwise they were 10 yards or so from field goal range to end it...OU escaped with the win. Army even had a goal line stand against OU
