Ensminger would’ve tanked Joe’s stock without JBrady

keeps trusting his playmakers, could be a special year.

He has only done this a couple times this season. Keeps is the wrong word. RARELY does he throw to a receiver or TE when they are in phase with a DB which he will need to do A LOT if LSU has any chance to beat UGA and hope to making the playoffs.

He is also hamstrung by his inability to throw over the middle for the same reason he doesn’t throw open receivers - FEAR.

This dude’s hate of Daniels is so strong you could power a vehicle off of it.

That is correct and it was in a prehistoric offensive system. If Burrow would have had a better offense like he had in 2019 or even this 22 offense, his stats would have been much better in 2018.

It’s true that the system needed upgrading, and the guy in charge of upgrading it did a great job! Ensminger went out and hired a young coach, who didn’t know shite about coaching, but had the secrets to Sean Peyton’s playbook. He used that coach to change the offense’s playbook, and he elevated that offense to the greatest college football had ever seen.

That coach was Steve Ensminger - a great coach and a great Tiger! Thank you, Coach Ensminger, for helping to bring to LSU the best season in our history!

Josh Williams is better than Nick Brosette. O line may be the same or maybe worse now. We let up like 8 sacks to Arky and 7 sacks to Bama. Not sure about exact stats.

Oh Mason Taylor may be better than other, whoever was TE then. Moreau?

Williams seems better to me, as well.

Those sacks were mostly on Daniels, not the line, which has been very good.

Taylor might end up better than Moreau, but Moreau was great. A very good receiver and a great blocking TE, who is about to sign his second contract in the NFL as a borderline TE1.

Comparing him to burrow is comical. Burrow was a coach on the field, knew where pressure was coming, knew where hot read was, threw down field very accurately in tight windows. You people are insane

Burrow was obviously better than what we’ve seen so far from Daniels. However, you are missing the point, that had we never seen 2019, almost everyone on this board would be saying Daniels is much better than Burrow. What will we see next year from Daniels?

Yep, his first season is better. If Burrow is on this LSU team, LSU is undefeated. I'm happy for Jayden and his success. He isn't remotely close to what Burrow is, but we can win with him as long as he continues to hit passes down field.

We'll likely see some great stats and hopefully a Heisman/Natty run.

Are you saying he's a better QB with those two on the field, or better than the best college football QB of all time?

Yeah rattler from SC is an actual real QB. He has a quick release and accurate ball down field.

Rat was in the zone last night.
He threw some dimes that were dropped by his receivers.
Impressive showing by that young man.

Wanna impress? Let’s see his second season be better than Joe’s second season. Why do people start with shite like this?

This place has gone full retard. JD5 will never do what Burrow did here. I'm exciting to watch him get better, but y'all are fricking nuts.

bullshite. JD5 has years of starting experience that Burrow never had, and Burrow got to campus late.

Joe would’ve been great his 1st season if he had been with LSU all offseason and training camp. Jayden has also been a starting QB for much longer. Jayden still has a long way to go to prove he’s as great, but he has looked very good to great in most of the last few games. Joe was great, and also showed spurts of greatness his 1st season, and ultimately became the greatest college QB of all times, yet at times Jayden has looked great as well. If he attains Joe’s level as a passer, he would be unquestionably the greatest college QB of all time, but if he gets close, coupled with his running ability, he could still be the best of all times, not just at LSU

True. But, what point are you trying to make?

Do you think JD would have the same success if you plugged him into that 2018 LSU offense under Coach O and Steve Ensminger?
