Hahaha. You’re replying to a guy who hates white players. Just ignore that piece of shite

great season of quarterbacking in the last 16 seasons and suddenly anything less than 2019 Burrow is beneath us.
Not really. Just don't have games where you throw for 80 yards.
Throw for more tds than Jordan Jefferson did in 2009.
There are no run 1st qbs winning any titles of significance at the collegiate or professional level.
If JD can get more consistent with his passing the sky is the limit for 2023 lsu...

JD wishes he could put up those type of numbers on a consistent basis
So does every qb that’s ever played football

2019 32/42 321 yds LSU with 508 yds total offense in another win
And a whopping 23 points.
quote:
2018 15/34 249 yds in a road win
Even better with a whopping 22 points.
Yardage doesn’t matter. Yardage doesn’t win games.
Member those years we had more offensive yardage verses Bama but still lost the game? I member.
I know that that’s not enough points for an offense to score because many posters here told us its JD’s fault we lost to A&M this year and the offense scored 23 points in that game too.
Auburn ran a bend don’t break defense against us those years and if they had had a half decent offense they could have won those games.

Funny how we hate a QB that can make plays with is feet
No one hates that ge can make plays with his feet. People get frustrated watching him hold the ball and be check down charlie. Before the bowl.game we were literally one of the worst teams in cfb at gaining passing yards when a pass is caught(meaning he was not throwing the ball intermediate or deep). The vast majority of the year we were also horrid at gaining passing yards when a pass was attempted.
I just want more consistency. I don't want him benched. I just want more of ole miss and bama JD. Less auburn and a&m JD.

I am concerned that that dude is a racist. He equates criticism of JD5 with hate. Idiotic.

This has become a go to response but does anyone think this is a championship caliber roster? Do you honestly think if Daniels played for UGA that they would not have won this year? Not for nothing but Jalen Hurts for Bama the lead on Clemson in 2016. It wasn’t because he was run first that Clemson marched down the field.

Man that grade just shows you how good Travis is. I've been really high on him personally and this grade proves it. Going to be a hell of a game 1 battle for LSU.

But JD gets credited for the win.
No. No he doesn’t. No one has ever said JD looked good against Arkansas and EVERYONE said “thank god for HP”.
Stop being a retarded dipshit with this nonsense.

It most certainly does when you claim someone was shut down.

Yeah and none of those years were they labeled as bama shutting lsu down.
You found out your stance was wrong and you're now trying to move the goalposts.
321 yards 2 of our 3 tds and 76% completion is in no way being shut down.

Holy shite... yeah that's not how this works. If jayden daniels was a better passers we don't lose 4 games... right...?

So what you’re saying is JD’s ups are damn good and his downs are bad?
I think we’ve all been agreement about this.
It’s just you have some people here convinced he will never get better or more consistent than that and others who believe he can. I think he will be better next year. How much better is on him but a 2nd year under the same system with (mostly) the same players can’t be a bad thing.

LSU was never really in any threat to lose that Auburn game. It was close but anytime someone threatened LSU all that season they turned the jets on. When Auburn did something in that game LSU responded then cooled like they did the majority of the season. Nobody was beating that LSU team.

Hmm. Why couldn’t he get it in the end zone though? Isn’t that the part that matters? I’ll give any QB I ever play against 600 yards a game if I can keep them out of the end zone 99% of the time. That’s still “shutting them down” when it counts. That’s what I was referring to because yards does not equal points.
Is this really that hard of a concept for some of you? I get that most of you are from Louisiana and critical thinking doesn’t come natural to most of you regards but come on. You guys can’t be this clueless.

We were a game or two away from making playoffs.
Did you watch this year?

No they wouldn't have. Not with the games he has had.

Brother come on... youre making my points for me.

We were down 17-0 with an offense that did nothing the entire game so year we were in a lot of trouble.

He did twice.
Just admit you had no idea about Burrows stats from 2019. You just looked at score and said he was shut down.

Except they didn't keep him out of the endzone. Why are you acting like they did?

They apparently don’t watch the games.

I definitely think he will be better next year in the passing game.
The Jayden from ole miss, Bama and Florida could win the Heisman.

Agreed. He does catch too much flack around here.

No because you’ve think of a different game. It was against UGA in 2017 that Tua replaced Hurts. The year before Hurts got Bama the lead over Clemson with 2 minutes to left. If you think they lost that game because of Hurts being “run first” you might as well say the lost because Saban didn’t wear his lucky socks.
ETA : LINK
Here’s the box score, Clemson scored 21 in the 4th Q because Hurts is run first I guess

quote:
No they wouldn't have. Not with the games he has had.

Kentucky is a game I can see you’d Think UGA wouldn’t have won with Daniels, Stetson Bennett was an amazing…checks notes…
13-19-115-0-1. Yep no way Daniels could match that

I watched us play Tennessee and A&M from the stands, we didn’t lose those games because the QB is “run first”, nor did UGA hang 50 on us because of that. The only reason we got playoff run is because we play in the SEC, won the west and beat Bama. We were not a championship roster
ETA of course everyone wants to win the NC if your standard for QB is win it or he sucks, your standard is out of whack.
