Daniels threw for 349 yards on 23-of-32 passing, the most passing yards ever by an LSU quarterback against the Gators. Walker Howard’s dad Jamie threw for 339 in a loss here in 1992 — before Saturday the only 300-yard passing game for LSU against Florida. That means Daniels did something Joe Burrow, Tommy Hodson and Bert Jones couldn’t do against the Gators.

If he continues to throw like that then with his speed we’ll win a shite load of games. This could be akin to Joe Burrow’s first year at LSU with a big leap coming next year.

I'm just an idiot with a TD account, but to my untrained eye it looked like they really simplified things and ran more slants and hitches to get JD in rhythm. There was also finally an emphasis on getting Boutte the ball.

You saw shades of him throwing the ball better last week. Fitting it into tighter windows etc. I saw improvements last week vs UTk even though we got our asses kicked.

I was not expecting a leap like this though.

What this does for everyone’s confidence and now belief in the BK system is immeasurable. We can still have a special season.

Those plays have been there all season. JD finally threw the ball to the open receivers He also threw with accuracy Good on him but last night wasn't the first time the wr's have been open all season.

I wish we could have auto-ban on stuff like this. There is not one sad fan that the LSU QB had a great game last night. Stop fabricating this stuff in your mind and watch it all disappear.

I have a feeling BK lit his arse up this week. He was actually throwing near defenders, and it showed. He actually had air under his downfield passes for the first time this year, which led to two long TDs.

The WRs can make those plays, he just has to release the ball.

Daniels really stepped up last night. Hopefully he stays in this groove and doesn't revert.

Receivers were actually catching the ball. It’s amazing how many drops we had during games 1-5

He had some really awesome balls. Minus the long balls, the throws to Cole Taylor and Lacy were two that stood out.

Heard on the SEC Network that he was 8/9 for 187 yrds. on 3rd down. That's boss territory.
Also, his improvement was shown the best on the play where Florida jumped off side, then Jaden realized he had a free play, looked the safety off to the left, then threw to the deep right for the TD.
