There is absolutely an argument that Daniels was better. You'd be splitting hairs either way"

I find 15-0 is damn hard to argue about . JB drove that winning machine and there's no arguing that either.

Joe Burrow had 60 TD passes in a season! That won't be topped in a season by a P4 QB in a looooong time.

So Joe won all those games by his self. Are did Joe have a better all round team?

Burrow is the best hands down. This isn’t even an argument. He ran when he had to, but he had the ncaa record for accuracy until the championship game when he lost it by two completions.

He also had Chase, Jefferson, Clyde et. al. And a decent defense.

JD had one of the shittiest defenses in the history of LSU. Nabers and Thomas, yes but zero running game.

Burrow on last years team does nothing.

Not to anyone who watched the two.

Burrow was as close to as unstoppable as I've ever seen a college player. There is only one player I've ever seen be more dominant, and that was Cam Newton.

Burrow and it isn’t close. With Nabers and Thomas last year Burrow would not have lost 3 games. He definitely would not have lost to Fla State in consecutive openers.

With bias and strictly from a performance standpoint, Jayden is the better athlete and QB... he just didn't have a good defense while at LSU. Burrow winning the heisman was in large part due to having an all-around dominant team. Numbers don't like, but they can vary! I love both of these kids! They did right by LSU!

They were both great QBs with different styles. I don’t see the need to argue about which was “better”.

Come on now, you know damn well none of those losses were due to Daniels.

Daniel’s was scared to throw the football many times. It absolutely cost us against FSU and other losses as well.

People are also quick to forget the 2019 defense, while not as bad as last years, had some really shitty performances that Burrow and Co. had to will is to the W in. That wasn’t an elite defense by any stretch.

Daniels may end up being the best talent to ever come out of LSU. Hell he may go down as the greatest NFL quarterback of all time. But Joe executed the greatest season of all time in college.

I loved Dan Marino but at the end of the day it’s all about the rings.

His games vs Auburn and Arkansas were as bad as any in the last 6-8 years for a QB at LSU but we won so the people making these silly claims just ignore them. Doesn’t take anything away from last season it’s just an observation of how our fans misjudge most everything.
