Jayden Daniels 2022 Stats:

254/371 (68.5%)
2,774
Passing Yards
16 Passing Touchdowns
3 Interceptions
818 Rushing Yards
11 Rushing Touchdowns

Jayden rarely put the ball in harm's way, he took a previously 6-7 LSU team to 9-4 and a Citrus bowl birth, and Daniels reminded the country that LSU has always been capable of producing big things offensively.

Bro had the second most total yards in LSU history and it was just over half of what Joe Sheisty did 2019.

Daniels has a chance with an average performance to be the 5th 3000 yard passer in LSU history.

He is also currently 2nd on the single season all-time list for Total Offense. He passed Rohan Davey in 12 games, so it isn't a matter of playing more games.

Those highlights are night and day from pre to post Alabama. There are only 2 plays from the Arkansas game on the highlight reel.

That said, I'm ready for the future. I hope Walker Howard lives up to the hype and wins the job.

His running ability allows him the opportunity to be a really dynamic player. And as a passer he has plenty of arm strength and is generally pretty accurate....when he throws the ball. And THAT is the problem. He's just so hesitant to let it go for whatever reason.

If he can gain more confidence to let the ball go on time LSU's offense could be really good. That's the frustrating part.

ELITE runner.

Just needs to get a little more confidence in his receivers and we're the favorites to win the west (again) in 23.

With Boutte and Nabors out there how much more confidence do you need Jayden? Nuss proved that point. Just sling it!!

Sure hope JD comes back next year. Look at what an extra year did for Hooker's development. But for injury he played himself into first round.

He had a legit shot at a 3,000/1,000 season.

Man he was such a weapon at times, and frustrating at others. Glad we had him this past season, kid left it all on the field every single night

Solid point.

Nuss’ other proven point is that for every touchdown he throws, he will throw and interception.
