Awesome. Thanks for compiling. I’ve got some stuff to watch between meetings.

He’s really good on delivering those short touch passes to Mason Taylor.

Did I miss the run against FSU where JD was body slammed?

Whenever someone puts out the ‘hardest hits of the 2023 season video’ JD5 will be included in about 25% of that video.

Man countless times I saw him avoid sacks and turned it into huge plays… 10+ yard runs and deep throws and touchdowns. Notice it a lot more when it’s one after the other in those highlight reels.

What a season he’s having. He’s the second best QB we’ve ever had, and the gap between 1 and 2 isn’t as big as people seem to think. if his 2nd half of the season is as good as his first he very well could win the Heisman. need to keep winning.

Jayden Daniels is amazing. I just hope he doesn't get hurt. He's taken some really hard hits, especially in that Mizzou game.

Definitely a Heisman candidate.

Man that FSU game is so misunderstood nationally by those that just looked at the score. For three quarters that was a back and forth, even game.

Talk about a name I hadn’t seen in a while. Your YouTube vids used to get me thru the offseason.

Welcome back!

It was 17-17 midway through the 3rd. Three plays changed the entire trajectory of the game.

1. 3rd & 6 with 6:33 to go in the 3rd (17-17). Daniels hits Lacy in the chest for what should a first down AT LEAST at the FSU 38. Lacy drops it. Had he caught it he had room to run and LSU likely has the ball in or near the redzone with an offense that is rolling. Instead, they punt. FSU gets the ball and scores to go up 24-17

2. Final play of the 3rd Quarter (24-17). Thomas drops what would be a 30+ yard gain to at least put LSU at the FSU 16. Instead, LSU opens the 4th quarter with a 2nd & 10 at the LSU 48.....

3. On the very next play Nabers slips on a stop route that allows FSU to intercept the pass. They take over and score to make it 31-17. LSU never threatens again.

If ANY of those three plays turn out differently who knows how the game turns out. Daniels took a lot of heat following the game from everyone (I'm sure myself included) but in those spots he delivered good passes and his receivers let him down.

Found that they put a couple Record Watch pages in the LSU Game Notes published by LSU.

He already has the career LSU QB Rushing record by 289 yards. (Jordan Jefferson is #2).

Needs 8 more rushing TDs to match the QB Rushing TD record (23).

He has a great chance to end up 3rd or 4th on the LSU All-Time passing list (in only 2 years). Passed up Justin Jefferson last game for #8. Currently with 4,882 yards passing. Almost 2,000 yards this year with half the season + bowl game left.

He's pretty much a lock to finish #3 in the Career Total Yards category. 6,189 yards (1,307 rushing and 4,882 passing). 3rd place is Jeff Wickersham with 6,705 (-216 rush, 6,921 pass). LSU would need to win the SEC and make the playoffs for him to realistically have a shot at passing Tommy Hodson.

Currently #6 in career TD passes with 36. Only 4 from #4 Herb Tyler. Outside shot at #3 Jamarcus at 52 TDs.

#6 in TDs Responsible For with 51 (15 rush, 36 pass). #4 is Jamarcus with 56. Herb Tyler at #3 with 63 TDs. #2 is Hodson with 71.

Also as others have noticed. Daniels is on pace for the 3rd 4,000/1,000 yards season in CFB history.

A lot of words to say: Jayden Daniels will likely finish between #1 and #4 in every career stat category for LSU QBs in only 2 seasons played.
