The only time I saw a difference in Daniels demeanor was the FSU game. He was oddly out of character. Not saying it means anything but no smile or his usual body language.

Better than Hodson?

I like JD, but I’m not willing to go that far. Hodson was the SEC’s all time leading passer when he graduated.

I believe Hodson is still the all-time passing leader at LSU -- this in spite of Burrow. But... it took Hodson four years to amass his numbers

It didn't take Hodson five years to be a reliable QB.
He started his first game as a Red shirt freshman and led us to victory over a ranked team.

Maybe Hodson his freshman year. Jamarcus had a rocket for an arm but couldn't run like JD. he can make something out of nothing. He may miss a receiver here and there but he more than makes up for it. At least he has so far.
