I would like to see Morgan and Crews trade spots in the batting order.
Although the golf course is where all my athletic ability is
confined, I would also like seeing Crews in the 3 hole followed by Tommy Tanks to clean things up. I believe that is the most threatening lineup.
But what do I know as a drunken ranter?

I wish I could upvote that post more

I can get on board with Hurd over Floyd due to matchup. While I agree that Beloso has hit a bit of a lull, it seems like every time a player looks like he’s scuffling and needs to be replaced, that player steps up and provides just the spark the team needs. How many people were ready to replace Dugas and Jobert heading into tonight?
Spot on and makes the most sense. I will add that Beloso hit the ball hard last night but right into the player. If he could push a couple balls the whole left side is open

Beloso outside of his HR vs UK has looked rough the last few games
You know you can look up stats right?
Beloso was on a 9 game hitting streak going into the super regionals. He didn’t get a hit in game one he then hit the home run in game two.

I wonder who the lone downvote is?

You don’t get into the winners bracket of the college World Series without having a manager who pushes a hell of a lot right buttons even with an ace on the mound.

You absolutely can't take Tre off of first. And Pearson is a plus ab at 9 even if a lefty is throwing. The only sub I could see there is Beloso, but who do you put in? Edit: I guess it would be Jones.

CJJ has said he wants Crews leading off as that gives him more at bats .And with Pearson & Jobert getting on base at the bottom of the order semi regularly, that puts Crews in a cleanup position.

yea, id like to see Jones in the lineup for Beloso. Better matchup vs the LHP, and a little more athleticism on the bases

not an insult to Johnson at all, more of a testament to Paul Skenes.
The hardest decision was pulling him last night, and despite what a few people though, I though it was the right one.
The barrelled him twice, and then Ahuna singled. And it wasn't so much the basehit, it was the location of his pitches in that AB. He was losing it.
Going to Guidry was a no-brainer, but they had the scouting report (per the postgame) and he just hung a fat one trying to get strike one over.
