What year is it? Players DO move every year and whatever rules there are left don't get enforced. What is he even complaining about?

The college basketball media elites and their continued circle jerk around the blue bloods simply never fails

The absolute worst

It seemed obvious to me. His point was that people complaining about player portability should note that coaches have always had portability, and what’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

Bilas is a hypocritical twat. I noticed he never turned down his ESPN salary for calling games involving unpaid college basketball players before NIL.

This isn't really a shot at Wade necessarily, but the NCAA arguing (which they have in court in the past) that the players shouldn't have the freedom to leave whenever they choose, while coaches can do so even after one year.

Of course, I doubt there was such a tweet last year when Darian DeVries left West Virgnina after just one season to go to Indiana...because that was justified given it was Indiana. Nor did I see such a tweet when McCollum left Drake after just one season to go to Iowa (taking Drake's best player with him). I guess it's ok to leave after one season if (a) you're going to an ordained "powerhouse" or (b) to a major conference from a minor conference. However, bailing from one middle of the conf. program to another is forbidden

Here's the thing. Bryan Hodgson was the head coach at Arkansas State for one season (2024-25) before leaving for South Florida. He was the coach at South Florida for one season (2025-26) before being hired earlier this week at Providence. You don't see Jay Bilas or Dick Vitale or Pat Forde or anybody in the media bashing Bryan Hodgson for back-to-back one-and-done seasons. The hypocrisy of it all is astounding but not surprising.

Everyone else can change jobs at the drop of the hat, but coaches can't? Well, coaches that strictly leave for LSU can't?

frick you Jay Bilas, you colossal douche. You and your takes are a a tedious bore.
