He better pick up a hitting coach too while he’s at it

I've been saying this. The heart and soul of that '23 team were Louisiana boys.

Jay is the fricking problem. He mismanages the pitching staff every single year. Every year. We have 2 of the best pitchers in America and still can’t figure it out

The fact we went Noot/Shores/Williams was INSANE

Evans should have started, and if not, then bring him in up 3-2. He is an elite pitcher. JAY frickED UP. Now you go into tomorrow giving a shitty team all the confidence in the world and ours seems to be at an all time low.

The best 3 players on that team weren’t from Louisiana ??????????. I love our idiot baseball fans. Just make stuff up because we’re emotional.

He’s had three recruiting cycles to beat Little Rock. We may be asking the wrong guy to find the players.

Fyi- Jay has mismanaged the staff and the lineup all season. This team is way more talented than their opponents. That’s why we win. But people just criticize and say you don’t know shite and didn’t win a Natty

Doesn't mean shite. You can either play or you can't. But you also gotta coach better. There are just way too many guys that aren't improving in the bullpen. When Wes was here, you would notice their progression. With Yeskie, it's almost like if the guys are already pretty talented he can get them to their max potential, but with guys who show promise but need work, he can't seem to get much from them. It's just what I've observed but it's not the only issue with this team.

What an ill-informed comment. Wes Johnson was here for one year, and several pitchers went down for an extended period of time with arm injuries (Noot, Taylor, Shores, Edwards). Floyd wound up missing all of 2024 with injury in the minors. It may be coincidence that we’ve seen none of these arm injuries in the two seasons since.

Up until literally tonight, all of these guys had been effective and looking much improved over the course of the season. Noot, Shores, Mayers, Rizy - all of these guys showed great progression and/or adapted well to new roles. It remains to be seen if tonight was a fluke or regression to the mean.

The best don’t necessarily need to be, but the nucleus does
