I would be willing to bet that 90% of NFL GM’s would take Landry over Cooks if money and length of contract was equal. Leadership, toughness, hands, clutch performer. Cooks literally only has speed on Landry.

In the top 3 for sure, Wendell Davis, Andy Hamilton, Jarvis Landry

You realize 2 different NFL GMs have given 1st Rd picks for Cooks, right?

You going to make me pull out the numbers, too?

C'mon, don't make me pull out the numbers

Do you even Wendell Davis, baw?

Great player. Landry is better than he was, though. It’s hard to go against Odell. But after Odell, I’d take Landry, Eric Martin, and Josh Reed in a tie for second.

Haters gonna hate. You know deep down inside who'd you rather on your team. You just can't admit it yet. Some day I hope that you find it in your heart to recognize the truth.

who would you rather

80-1204-5 TD (118 targets)

81-976-4 TD (149 targets)

Cooks - more explosive, more efficient, more versatile

Give me Landry over OBJ anyday of the week. OBJ is more talented but is and freaking headcase. Landry is the complete opposite and an asset to any locker room.

Yea, sure. Why not? Im curious. Everyone knows about Landry’s high reception totals over his career, and his lack of TD’s when compared to how efficient he is with receptions. He certainly had a down year this year with TD’s having only 4 (semi-bust for me as a fantasy WR, but he was drafted as my flex option so not terrible).

Josh Reed is the GOAT.
he had a great year, but Reed isn’t Top 5 at LSU all time.
I get that he had a great year with a great offensive scheme, but you have to look at Pros which is what the OP was suggestinh

I closed my laptop but Cooks has played in 6 less games but is approx +100 yds in his career & has 6 more TDs than Landry despite having roughly 120 less catches

I like Landry but that is pretty insane.

There’s a lot of WRs I’d take over both

I love Landry. Lunch pail guy with great hands. But at the end of the day, their job is to score touchdowns and OBJ has almost triple the number of scores that Landry has. At LSU, I’m taking Josh Reed.

Exactly. He has 120 less catches than Landry while only playing in 6 less games. They obviously serve two different roles. He’s lapped him by an entire season and then some in catches in only 6 more games. Yet, Landry has even a slighty above avg TD season this year and they break even in career TD’s.

Do you think playing a career with Drew Brees, Tom Brady and now Goff may have a little something to do with that slight TD bump he has over Landry, who has obviously played hos entire career with Tannehill, Tyrod and now Mayfield (who looks to be the real deal)?

I know people like to shite on Odell because he’s “weird” I do love Jarvis and Odell both, and Jarvis may be a better overall person, but he doesn’t rival Odell and that’s just looking at facts among other things.

the insane volume Landry sees gives him an advantage

Yea they play different roles but that is because Landry is limited to that role. Making Cooks a better player
