I think if we lose to Auburn, then you have to give Lee a start to at least see where he is in terms of development. You also need to give Shep some time at QB.

JJ had many times last night man to man coverage on both outside WR on deep routes and failed to even look their way. He was content to throw the 5-7 yard route underneath. Florida was daring JJ to make a play and he failed miserably. Flynn and Mauck were mentioned in a previous post, they would have at least attempted to throw deep. You have to to keep a defense from putting 8 in the box. More people in the box makes it difficult to run and throw short passes. This is elementary. It is time for a change at QB.

look people, let's not give up on this season just yet. There is to much confusion on offense right now and it's coming from the sidelines.

Lee should get a chance IMO. Why not? Our offense would not be worse. Yeah, he might make a mistake or two, but I'm willing to take that chance. We have no chance against Bama the way we are playing. The best thing about putting Lee in, would be that they would hopefully scrap the option. Call plays for Lee to throw the ball downfield, like last year

As much as JJ runs and as many sacks as he takes, dont' worry, Lee is probably playing before the season is over.

I still have nightmares of Lee running the option last year

JJ takes sacks, but he doesnt throw many INTs

Ok, I feel ya but do you enjoy taking sacks on 4th down? Either way we are gonna be traveling on a bumpy road. We need a spark of some kind. JL does have a quick release at least, I think a rotation may be good for both of them.

I'm on the Lee bandwagon, I'm tired of watching Dancing JJ get sacked and not attempt to throw the ball.

Lee was replaced after starting most of the year. During spring pratice Lee should have had a good jump on JJ with his experience right? The coaches evaluated both a decided to go with JJ instead. My point is after all this the coaches still feel JJ gives them the better chance to win.

that's the truth but we really can't go to Lee in a big game like that. That would be like just giving up and I don't think the team is ready to do that just yet. Straighten out the confusion on offense. Maybe take a longer look at Shep, and start getting CG up to speed by giving him some PT. We can still win this thing.

Well last season it was the other way around. We need a spark.

+1, Lee didn't even beat out Hatch, a QB with no arm, last season. Going with JL would be taking a step backwards. Need to keep looking forward and not give up yet.

Lee should at least have gotten a look by now. Anyone saying otherwise has some sort of agenda.

It is quite obvious he was lied to about having a real shot to play.

+1
I have never seen a QB throw ZERO passes to a wide receiver running in stride and the ball falls over his shoulder for a TD. The only passes JJ makes is a curl, 5 yard out or a one time per game slant that gets JoJo one on one with a defender. We have NO threat past 10 yards. And if they play zone, we get sacked because JJ can not read a defense or trust his throws.

except you are relying on the decision making ability of these coaches. What inspires that confidence?

I'm all for that as long someone on the coaching staff gets it in his head that he CANNOT take sacks.

We've all seen JL play. Now is not the time for revisionist history. He is not some savior at the QB position.
