He is a tight end dumb arse. But Deangelo was not used correctly. And your man cost all the receivers in the draft.

JJ has the raw athleticism and strong arm that with the right coaching and time can make him a very good QB.
I see zero chance of JJ being an NFL QB. He has a really long release and has never read defenses. His only chance would be at a different position. He has raw straightline speed and nothing else.

Daniel not Daniels

The Stripes qb looks pretty good on this last drive, I guess he will be drafted and starting in the league in a few seasons also.

ridiculous, get that crap out of this Lee thread. In 5 years he has not developed an ability to develop ANY field vision at all. He is done.

To act like they've shown nothing in 4 years is down right stupid.
41-12 ain't nothin' for sure.

He's never gonna be a starter. But I could see him on a practice squad with that cannon of an arm and quick release.
He could MAYBE get in a backup role if he has a good head for the game, and can help with stats/playcalling/running down info to the starter. Sort of like the 'statman' role Chase Daniels plays when he's not in as QB.
How many idiots on this board several years ago said Flynn had zero chance and now he will probably have his own team next year.

Like the game winning passes against florida/auburn/the nice drive against bama last year?
quote:one bad year and then one bad game last year?
Years of poor footwork and decision making.

The fact that he wasn't in good shape until this year.
quote:Pure conjecture and libel on your part.
And whatever school issues he may or may not have.

Dang, I've never wished Chicken would ban people more than tonight. Wish ya'll could shut up and read the game.

I didn't see anything in 4 years from him or JJ to think either can play at the next level.

Pretty sure he torched the Orange Bowl and Rose Bowl Champs.

Years of poor footwork and decision making.
Pretty sure he had 1 INT in 7 games. Is 2nd in team history in most consecutive passes without an INT. Only 3 INTs all year.

Failing against superb competition.
Our entire offense failed against superb competition since 2008. That had nothing to do with Lee and more to do with shitty coaching.

Years of poor footwork and decision making.
You mean his freshman year and 1 game against Bama?

The fact that he wasn't in good shape until this year.
Means absolutely nothing.

Again, no proof of this at all. Just conjecture from random people to excuse poor coaching decisions.

Lee was in the huddle for the defense. still 4th & 10
Posted on 1/16/12 at 10:18 pm to Geaux2002
If having some tools is all it took to make it, then a ton of guys would have a shot.
Lee's arm is above average and his release is great but to ignore his other deficiencies is dubious.
JJs arm is good and his release is pathetic. Ignoring his other deficiencies would also be dubious.

You could say the same for a lot of NFL QBs

Years of poor footwork and decision making.
Seems to have fixed that
I haven't seen a lot of poor decision making since 2010

The fact that he wasn't in good shape until this year
Again, who gives a shite?

He doesn't have to go to class in the NFL
