I'd still say he has almost zero chance to make it in the NFL. You must not realize how bad 2nd and 3rd string QB's are..

Exactly. Many are plain turribal.

Give him two years in the NFL and some real coaching and he'll start after those two years somewhere.
Care to lay a wager that he will be starting in the NFL after two seasons?

I didn't see anything in 4 years from him or JJ to think either can play at the next level.

Then you've looked with bias against both.

Both Lee and JJ have shown flashes of what could make them possible NFL QBs (as in 2nd/3rd QBs). Consistency has been Lee's issue and that has a lot to do with poor coaching decisions more than anything.

JJ has the raw athleticism and strong arm that with the right coaching and time can make him a very good QB.

To act like they've shown nothing in 4 years is down right stupid.

I think you are really stretching here. A) What baggage? The kid took it in the chin and got back up more than any QB in recent memory B) He has an NFL caliber release and a pretty strong arm -- those two things make him a top 10-15 QB prospect in the draft.

There are not 20 QBs worth a shite in most drafts.

Failing against superb competition.
Years of poor footwork and decision making.
The fact that he wasn't in good shape until this year.
And whatever school issues he may or may not have.

That other QB must have been too impressive to play in any of those silly games.

He's never gonna be a starter. But I could see him on a practice squad with that cannon of an arm and quick release.

He could MAYBE get in a backup role if he has a good head for the game, and can help with stats/playcalling/running down info to the starter. Sort of like the 'statman' role Chase Daniels plays when he's not in as QB.
