Yeah it will. I think the motivation of being able to win a national championship in both football and baseball would be a very enticing and personal motivation that would keep him very focused on the CWS, atleast it would for me. He's always been a great student athlete on and off the field, and bleeds that P&G so I think his heart is in LSU and winnin a championship before he leaves, but DAMN hes probly very excited about this news!

Speedy LSU two-sport star Mitchell kicks off Draft class
The good news is that the White Sox's 2008 1st-round pick has already been called up to the majors. The bad news is that it's Gordon Beckham, whose UGA team collapsed in last year's CWS to Fresno St. We need Mitchell to change that in Omaha with the Tigers.
