Have you ever played? Or are you some dumb fatass hiding behind a keyboard? Strike outs are frustrating but they happen. He’s swinging and will be fine. He played awesome at first, but you probably didn’t see that while you were busy shoving weiners down your mouth

His defense at first is to valuable and always has the potential to hit one 430 feet to cjange the game .People wanting to bench him in the CWS is mind boggling. Root and Gaekle have made plenty of good hitters look bad.

Correct. It would be mind numbing dumb to wreck your defense and take him out. Especially when he’s a career .300 hitter and 3rd in LSU history in homeruns. It ain’t happening.

Obviously because he struck out 5 times but he’s not seeing it well in the slightest. He fouled off two back to back absolute meatballs that should have been parked in his last at bat.

You’ve made thousands of awful posts.

Glad I wasn’t the only one who thought that.

And he continues to do it so there’s that.

Crapping on a kid after he had a bad day is about as tasteless as you can be. GFY.

Sorry but it’s not just a bad day anymore. We are in Omaha. His bad day affects a lot of people. He signed up for this. Time to turn it around

ETA: anyone that disagrees is delusional. It’s the truth even tho it sucks…it’s facts

You are affected by a 4-1 win over the top ranked team in the tournament? Weird

You could stick a 4 month old chimpanzee with autism up there, and he would've maybe had a higher on base percentage than JJ by not swinging the bat at all

Truth is that he was a great hitter in the regular season, but it has become apparent that he has pretty much no shot to turn this around within 1 week. He's in a slump that will last much longer than 1 week. Doesn't make sense to keep him in the lineup when it is a guaranteed out. Winning Nati's isn't about being loyal to former good players in a very prolonged, horrible slump. It's about playing who your best players are that day.
