Who gets drafted first and why? Obviously I'd like to see Chase get drafted before Smith but after the season Smith just had, about to win the Heisman, Chase is no longer the first WR off the board. Honestly I think Chase hurt his draft stock by sitting out. Still a first round pick no doubt, but I think Smith gets drafted ahead of him.

Chase is a quitter. Simple. Devonta smith is a champion and a competitor. I’d draft Smith 100 times out of 100.

The real questions is will devonta smiths heisman speech be as bad as his football season this year was good

I don’t know why we have this thread every other day. Both are elite WRs that I expect both will do well in the NFL

Chase sitting out allowed Smith to be the first WR off the board. Take nothing from smith, he’s one hell of a WR. However, Chase will still be 2nd WR off the board. Top 15 for sure IMO.

I’ll take Devonte Smith!!! He stuck it out for 4 years and didn’t quit on his team!! Chase is a quitter and personally hope he never comes back around LSU and influences other players to quit like him!!

Oh good, this again.

Chase is better than Smith regardless of what the crybaby bitches on here say.

Smith may not be the first Alabama WR taken.

I’ll take Chase because he’s more physical and has the strongest hands I’ve ever seen in a WR to break from press man coverage but it’s very very close. How could you be unhappy with either guy?

Chase is projected to be the #3 pick or the #5 pick. Smith is projected to be the 4th pass catcher from the SEC taken

In Smith's fourth year he had a season that was as good as Chase in his second year.

You are hitting these LSabama fans with facts and putting down their favorite player.

I agree he quit early but DS didn’t have any film on him before waddle got hurt. So it wouldn’t have made sense for him to quit. Waddle gets hurt and he improved his stick by 100 fold.

It depends on what the team drafting a receiver 1st needs.

Smith > route runner
Smith > speed
Chase > physical after run
Chase > better ball skills

I’d draft Chase first tho
