First pass from Burrow and Jamar drops it. Dropped 3 last game. Should have stayed his final season. Hope SEC rant wasn't a watching.

Chase has a lot of work to do. He’s not used to the role he’s going to have in Cincinnati where they’re running him a lot more over the middle and using him in catch and run situations. At his size and speed he’s not going to be able to out muscle big boundary corners in the NFL like he did at LSU. Gonna need to toughen up and be willing to take the hits underneath because so far he’s alligator armed a few worrying about defenders bearing down on him.

What about the players who played last season and are having similar struggles?

He went top 5 in the draft and got paid. He could never catch a pass in the NFL and it would still be a good decision to leave.

I’m a Browns fan so I hope Cincinnati loses every game. That said, I’m an LSU graduate and love my tigers. The Bengals should have drafted the left tackle out of Oregon to protect Burrow. Receivers are a lot easier to find than elite left tackles

Agree, we all wanna see Burrow and Chase play together but drafting the tackle there was the correct move. It’s the Bengals and decisions like that are why they haven’t won a playoff game in 30 years.

I agree. I just hopes he stays healthy so he can end up somewhere else one day.

Sewell has been just as bad in the preseason FWIW

Probly just needs to relax. Hopefully when the games that matter start he can lock in.

Watch for Marshall as well, he seems to be continuing at a high level with the panthers.

Chase is gonna get it together at some point. Just takes some longer than others in the nfl

Sewell is switching tackle positions.

Excuses like that don’t help protect the QB any better.

The only way Joe will leave the Bengals is if he's a bust, and that is highly unlikely. They control his rights through his rookie contract, then can franchise him if he won't agree to an extension

Jamarr will be fine. He and Joe have the chemistry, it will show soon enough. Also, the Bengals aren't a top flight franchise by any measure, but they've been to 2 sb, and made the playoffs 5-6 years in a row not too long ago. Burrow will elevate that organization. It's what generational qbs do.

This all remains to be seen. A couple of drops in preseason doesn’t mean Cincy made the wrong decision. Most rookies struggle adjusting to the league, especially those that aren’t RB’s.
