I hope he gets a team with a decent core... hate to see him end up as a Jet

JaMarcus is a traitor.

The funny thing is that you actually believe this. Dude was prepping being from Alabama, not the Tide. I know that's hard for some of you to understand.

Jamarcus is a Tiger and will always be one. I hope for the best for him and will be rooting for his comeback.
With that said, the people who are excusing his wearing of Alabama gear are missing the boat a little bit. It is disrespectful to LSU to wear the attire of what happens to be its most hated rival. Aside from a certain number of idiot fans (and the Gumps have their own) LSU has been and continues to be very good to JR.
I just saw the story on ESPN news. Not sure if it was an edited version but what thing I noticed that hasn't been mentioned in this tread -
They interviewed the coach who recruited JR to LSU and even showed that guy coaching LSU....but didn't seem fit to show the guy who coaches him for his two seasons as a full time starter, and unless I missed it, didn't even show that coach's face.
Smoke? Fire? ESPN hates......

Tired of talking about losers...let's talk about Matt Mauck and Matt Flynn who both had far less talent and have represented LSU well.

Matt mauck was a joke in LSU's big games. We won the national champ despite his play.
Flynn was better, but still not close to Jr

Jeff Garcia deserves a lot of credit for calling Jamarcus back even after he was not focused the first time around. Seems like a geniunely good person.

Start a new thread about Mauck and Flynn. Why ask others to do what you want?

Good piece. It's a shame how some of our fan base views JaMarcus.
And to the OP, if you paid attention to the segment you would know you have an error in the title.

Nothing Jamarcus ever did was enough for his haters at LSU so why should that change now?
I have a lot of faith in JR. Never felt better with a QB at LSU. Always felt we were in with a chance.

They mentioned in the documentary that Al Davis had his mind made up on Russell after the Notre Dame...
Its weird that if he didnt play as well in that particular game...
Then maybe Russell goes to a different team and has a career. Not saying a good career, but better....because he wouldnt have been drafted as high. And would have had to work to earn the starting job. (Remember before that game he was viewed as a mid to late 1st round pick....then jumped to the top of the draft after that game *top 5 pick* )
