The House stuff went on too long. He wasn't good his first year. People forget that Kelly is a defensive coach, so I would not be surprised if Kelly had his hands is some of the debacle that was the defense last year. There is no way they sit through meetings, reviews, practice and not have some understanding of what was wrong.
I believe House would have stayed if it weren't for Jacques exposing the player issue. I also think that Kelly used House somewhat as a buffer for a lot of his bad decisions. That seems like the only plausible reason that abomination was allowed to go on. The man makes too much money to just show up every week and be surprised when the defense is shite and getting worse weekly. Just my opinion, because the alternative would mean he is truly a "CEO", has no interest in the day to day and just stealing money.
