Adams and PP7 left with eligibility left. How can you possibly act like sitting out a game is any different logically than leaving a year early?

PP played in the cotton bowl but go back and watch the game tape. He was playing not to get hurt IMO! But to the point he played. I think each case is different now days!

they left da team with a year left

they didn't care about making the next LSU team better! they left their teammates on a lurch and their multi million dollar coaches dangling in the wind!

Greedy isn’t a senior either.

so they're all selfish pricks for not bleeding da purple and gold.

even though they will represent LSU for the rest of their lives and careers on national tv.

And represent them well.

These people bashing Greedy will be the first to lose their mind if he's ever critical of LSU down the road. They want to have their cake and eat it too. Thats understandable, but not to the point of bashing him.

There’s definitely a difference between letting your teammates know upfront, “Hey, this is the chance of a lifetime for me; I’m not coming back next year,” and fighting alongside your so-called brothers all season only to be like, “So I know we’ve all been through a lot together, but idgaf about this bowl game and I’m trying to get paid.”

What if Brees just decided in the middle of the playoffs this year, “Nahhh, I’m old; I just want to do family stuff. frick the Superbowl.” Would that be the same thing as not coming back next year?

All this happened after jaylon smith got injured for ND in a bowl game and went from a top 5 pick to luckily getting picked by the cowboys to start the second round. At the time people criticized the cowboys for wasting a pick because his future in football was in serious doubt. It’s now paying off because he beat the odds and made it back but cost himself millions. I think I would play if I would of been that good but can’t really blame any of them for sitting out either for a pointless game that is truly just there to make money but they don’t get any. Ultimately you make decisions throughout life and many of the decisions you make are what’s best for you and your family. May not be completely what you want to do but it’s whats best.

To me its about LSU. With Fulton out, this hurts the secondary if he doesn't play. Which hurts our chance of winning the ball game. Which could hurt recruiting class. Maybe not this years, but the next. Leave a legacy to continue and improve upon the success of LSU. I guarantee you OBJ, Landry, PP7, Mathieu, Adams.... all of them would love to come back and play one more game in the purple and gold.

You really think those two situations are similar...? Drew Brees signed a multimillion-dollar contract to play this year. His risk of bodily harm is being compensated by monetary means. Greedy is an amateur athlete getting paid nothing.

Sure, if they got their NFL game checks to go with it.

No, it wouldn't be the same. Not even close, actually.
