Before Jamal starting getting significant playing time this defense played a lot like last years squad, lacking emotion.

But since Jamal has gotten his time, you can see a new energy and life in this defense. Reminds me of the 2011 teams swagger led by TM7.

I expect this young man to have a big night Saturday.

Good day.

Jamal Adams is quickly becoming my favorite player on the team. Kid makes plays all over the field and hits guys with bad intentions. The future of DBU is in very capable hands.

Today, I rewatched the 2006 Arizona/LSU game and said the same thing. People compare Jamal to Mathieu, but I see a similarity between he and Laron Landry.

What's funny is Jamal used this very word when describing this defense in a post game interview.

He plays with controlled fury. The great ones do. My all time favorite at this is Ronnie Lott.

I agree. He, Beckwith, and Hunter all have that "it" factor that have made for so many NFL guys on Tiger defenses over the years. Not to take away from some of our other studs, but these are the guys at each level that have stood out to me. Adams above all.

He's going to be an absolute beast next year.

Hopefully Hunter and Alexander stay. We will be loaded on defense.
