This. Which I highly doubt she did. I'd toss his arse off the team. This isn't a fight like Hill or even Jefferson, where the "victims" were in both cases likely asking for it. Not okay to knock a woman out even if she is asking for it. Stay in your damn apartment and let her leave or call the cops yourself.

I would imagine it's 2-4 years.

Knocked out and stitches is second degree battery, a felony. But still, I suggest that we don't rush to judgment based on a claim made in an arrest warrant. That is sort of why we have trials, where everyone's side can come out.

OK let's all vote on this
Relax. We're all caveating our condemnation with "if he's guilty."

All great questions. Cleat chaser, stalker? May have slapped him for all we know. However, I dont side with any party in these things until the facts are revealed. Its easy to say Mills is a tPOS or this biatch ho deserved it.
In his infinite wisdom he no-shows an appt with the police and fails to return their calls repeatedly. Certainly doesn't tilt my opinion in his favor.

First, a man should never hit a woman, even if she deserves it. Period.
Second, if the police set an appointment to talk with you and you don't show, that's just stupid. Lawyer up if you have to, but missing that is like saying, "I'm guilty, please come and arrest me in the middle of the night".
All of that said, there's a whole lot that doesn't make sense. Sorry, but the girl is leaving out some details; that story makes zero sense. And if she showed up at the ED to get stitches because he punched her in the mouth, why didn't the police go to his apartment that night? If she was knocked out, did she just lay there in the hall for a while then stagger to the hospital or was someone there with her? There's more to this story than we're hearing.

Investigators made an appointment to speak with Mills on June 10th at 5:00pm, which Mills missed. Mills also did not answer the investigators phone call nor return a voice mail left by the investigator. A felony warrant was issued for his arrest for 2nd Degree Battery later that day
Pathetic

If guilty and it sounds like it, he needs to be gone and he just pissed away any chance with the NFL.

He needs to be dismissed immediately
I don't need any other legal issues or wait for any courts to make any decisions on this one
