Ohh qualified, huh
do you not know what a qualified hitter is? Okay I’m going to change the list. Dalton Beck has the top BA in the conference - .500 hitter.

Yeah Stanfield is clearly better than Kilen and Fischer Probably in the running for 1-1 in the MLB Draft. GOAT 9-hole hitter
70% of the way through conference play and Chris Stanfield had a better batting average than either of them. You asked a question and I answered it. Sorry you didn’t like the answer. Go let Jay know that he needs to take Stanfield out of the lineup because the scouts don’t like him.

Yeah he’s the same kind of player as Kilen

Auburn is also the best team in the country for sweeping LSU

How’s your “stars” Milam, Larson et al batting in conference play?

Good enough to have this team in 2nd place in conference.

Don’t know off the top of the head. I do know off the top of my head that LSU is batting better than Tennessee in conference play.

That’s fine if offense is the trade off. Problem is that guys like Jordan Thompson didn’t do either well under Jay

Jordan Thompson won a championship. He did just fine lol

Or we won despite him because Lipsey bought Tanks and Skenes to pair with Maineri’s/Cain’s holdovers of Crews, Morgan et al, so we could afford to have a .270 hitter who was an error-fest at SS

Honestly not much different than Tennessee is now

Tennessee’s short stop is hitting a cool .060 worse than Jordan did and is not the sole root cause of their defensive mishaps this season. So no, it’s a very different situation and you are again 100% incorrect lol.

Never made a specific player comparison lol, just simply stating that Jay’s bad defense worked fine in the end because he had enough horses to overcome that along with a black hole or two in the lineup.

Tennessee could easily have the same formula this year.

Of course they could they definitely have the potential. They got some things to turn around though for sure. Maybe they will and maybe they won’t. Up to this point they have not shown that they will, but they definitely have the potential to. As does LSU

you’ve gotten your arse so thoroughly beaten in this thread you’ve gone back to full deflect mode. We’re all the way back to “well milam isn’t a star!” And “Lipsey bought the players!”

You’ve completely abandoned your own argument after getting proved wrong every single step of the way.

Can’t wait to do this again next week.

as soon as he changed the subject to ask how Larson and milam are doing,he was cooked.

I promise you this guy is magician 2 the lord didn't create two people as stubborn as burreauxxx.
I don't think he believes what he says.
talks about it being dumb to put Jones on,then we inform him that vitello did that and it setup a righty on lefty with Jake brown who proceeds to go very deep over the diamond deck.

vitello left his worst fielders in the game for the 9th in game 1
vitello burned up his pitching in the first two games.
Jay did it perfectly.

vitello got completely outclassed.and coached by jay.

the dude actually said that we got outplayed overall in the series,he doesn't believe that truly . dude LOVES this message board contrarian schtick. He will do this all night if you let him.

Truth.

I’m just kind of surprised honestly that Tenn only had 2 frontline starting pitchers and has no bullpen. They seem poorly positioned from a talent standpoint to play a 3 game series let alone any type of tournament.

Really surprised Tony hasn’t recruited better. They shouldn’t be so limited from a personnel standpoint by year 6 or whatever it is huh?

False.

As a matter of fact, I've caught you lying at least 3 times in this thread which is direct evidence of your insecurity.

I mean anyone with eyeballs could see that Tennessee won 17 of the first 18 innings of that series

My "lying" is misinterpreting your retarded posts. Like when I said you bitched about Jake Brown hitting in the 3 hole because you posted "can't wait to see who Jay puts in the 3 hole" with a laughing emoji in the middle of one of your nonsense arguments.

You're lying is posting factually inaccurate information like batting averages, rankings, strengths of schedule, and many other verifiable statistics - all of which I have corrected in this thread.

When I do that, you move onto other subjective arguments with little to no data to back up your points.

You are bad at arguing, and bad at comprehending pretty basic topics of conversation. You constantly move goalposts and create straw man arguments that have no backing. You don't understand written word. You argue with yourself constantly. You may just be autistic. If that's the case, I am sorry for taking advantage of you.

My eyeballs were on the scoreboard behind the left field bleachers that I was looking at from my champions club seats. After the first 9 innings, it read LSU 6 Tennessee 3.

Then Tennessee won the next 9 innings.

Then LSU won the next 8 innings (again, a run rule victory).

This is usually how baseball games go.

This is false.

Like your logic that numbers and short-term results mean everything when it fits your argument.

LSU gets 2 of 3 from Tenn at home, thus they're better. However, Auburn sweeps LSU but they're not better.

Let's pump up Stanfield for his BA in SEC play, but ignore that all the other guys you claimed were "stars" have awful BAs in conference play. It's cool to say Stanny is great and point to a number to justify it, but cannot acknowledge that the other 3-4 "stars" are not great by that same data point

Do season long stats, conference only stats. season long SOS, season long NC SOS, season long RPI, and season long ELO count as "short term stats" 45 games into the season and 7 weeks into conference play.

Chris Stanfield has a better batting average in conference play, through 7 weeks, than any player on Tennessee's roster. That is a statement of fact.

Larson got pushed out by Stanfield and Curiel. Milam has had horrible BABIP luck and is slumping, and Jones has been pressing and trying to do too much. It's incredible what Jay and this team have done despite their more talented players struggling in SEC play.

Deflecting to the star argument just shows that you've lost every other one regarding the LSU/Tennessee debate that you so strongly defended prior to this weekend.

The guys I said would be stars are at least playing college baseball this year, unlike your suggestions.
