Oh we know this Bella had every intention of staying but dad pushed her to portal.

She just visited Vanderbilt

Appreciate the info. Should we be concerned about what's going on or is Mulkey just going to replace them with better players?

One thing about college sports now if you can’t recruit it you can just buy it.

I trust Kim to coach whoever is on LSU's roster to the max in 2026-27.

However, it is VERY disappointing that we are losing the best PG on our team and a player with two seasons left.

I agree with all of this.

I don’t know how nil gets reined in when you have starters that want more and more
The quicker you become star of the team the easier it is to transfer

1. Kim Mulkey can coach. She pulled our program out of the garbage can and into the top 10 annually. Kim will get some good players to come to LSU.

2. It is increasingly clear that MONEY is the BIGGEST factor in players' decisions even in WBB.

3. Just like MBB, you are only guaranteed a player on your roster for ONE SEASON.

I don't know if it was the plan...but Mulkey will definitely find solid replacements

The only thing that would be disturbing is if we learn that the players transferring were told they had to take a pay cut and there wasn't enough money to go around. But based on how Verge has been talking, I don't think this is the case. At least I hope not.

This shite is so goddamn crazy. I’m not going to waste time trying to figure it out or analyze it.

I have to believe though, that this did not catch Mulkey by surprise. I really think Kim wanted to roll with her returning back court with a depth piece transfer. But then Bella Hines and her shithead dad lied to her and hit the road after praising her to the skies last week.

I think this pissed Mulkey off and she determined she was going to bring in proven players to get over this Sweet Sixteen-Elite Eight hump, including a star point guard.

I don’t think she told Jada in these exact words, but the overall attitude was: “Don’t like it? Hit the road too.”

Jada is like Bella. She’s a good player, not a great one. She may not have overbearing parents but she does have a cult following of less knowledgeable fans on the LSU WBB Facebook pages who think she can do no wrong and is an infallible superstar.

So yes, I think as someone said, Kim has her commitments already lined up. But I guess we’ll see.

It will be interesting to see what next year’s roster will look like. And while they are good players, a backcourt of Jada Richard and Bella Hines would never win a national championship at LSU.

Yea, I was excited about her.

She definitely has potential, but if she couldn’t grab the starting spot this year, not sure she was worth five star money.

I think it varies from player to player, but it is at least a significant factor for most, if not all, of them. In every sport. But in sports like WBB, it may be the old "make hay while the sun is shining" because a lot of very good players will never see a professional women's court. There are just not enough available spots.

I agree with a lot said here. But disagree that Jada and Bella could be great one day but are still very young. Who knows what another year of development would have done for them. And yes Mulkey is now taking a frick it attitude saying ill just bring in players that are already great. We will see.

I doubt you know anything about her family

He provided proof of her mom and dad of doing at least 3 instances of shady shite. Taking bribes. Paying for a fake masters degree from southern in special education.

She started 34 of 35 games and averaged 26 minutes per game, second only to Mikaylah Williams, who averaged 28.

Her mom did that in 2004. Took responsibility and moved on. Her dad is the one who did the same thing again in 2014, and he does not appear to be in her life any longer, certainly not in any public way.
