WTH happened to this guy.. He's been on the team forever and idk if he's ever caught a forward pass!!! Very Highly rated and athletic out of Lake Charles and showed out at the UA game, then came to BR and disappeared.. Someone tell me how he never fulfilled his potential!?!?!?

Tight end is one of the toughest positions to make an impact at in LSU’s offense. You have to block and catch efficiently. That means blocking a 270 pound defensive end, and outrunning a linebacker. A lot of offenses have one or the other, while we prefer a balanced tight end. Jacory May be a great receiver, but he has no value if he can’t block at the tight end spot. Maybe he just didn’t develop

Worked out with him in Katy during his senior year of HS. Dude was a flat out animal, and he hasn't amounted to anything. I expected so much more, but he's done absolutely nothing.

Didn't he get injured at the spring game. He was going to be the player that help us over the middle of the defense while the wrs did their work outside. Him and Moss being hurt put more work on foster and that is why we ended up using Racey 2 weeks ago

Similar path as Desean Smith who had more TDs his senior year of HS than total catches at LSU. Better be a good blocking TE or we can't find a way to use you.

Good kid, from a good family. I watched him in HS, great hands, knew how to catch the ball. I at least would like to see him catch a pass, just once!

Pure speculation, I'd say it may be because of blocking. DeSean and Jacory were both great pass catchers in high school. DeSean needed to be in a different system than when he was at LSU for sure.
