re: Jacoby Stevens Move Back to Saftey Because He Felt Like It Was Better For His Career

There are some serious issues but some of the stuff people here want to harp on and place the blame on orgeron is embarrassing.
Who cares if a player changes positions more than once. THey(Stevens and coaches) thought he could maybe help the team this year on offense. He can't. So move him back to D. Never know if he can help until you have him practice with the offense.

Can someone with Photoshop skills go ahead and put clown shoes, a clown wig, and a big red nose on this jackass already?

It is truly pathetic that this stuff is happening.
Guice is 'hurt'
Key took the spring and summer off and ate Twinkies.
Stevens may want to kick FGs next.
I'd rather Stevens tell them he doesn't want to waste time at H back than him transferring because they moved him there(which could still happen since they wasted a year of his career).

I feel like him and Narcisse will transfer

Narcisse not playing actually makes sense. Stevens was the highly ranked recruit in the class and not only can they not find him PT at the position he was recruited for, they're jerking him every other week.

You mean like miles and aranda did with white? It worked out there. You people are pathetic. Just because he was rated highly doesn't mean he is better than others at his position. Unless of course you think aranda is a dumbass and deliberately trying to hurt the defense. Some real dumbasses in this thread

Again, do you think aranda is clueless, or deliberately trying to hurt the defense ?
Posted on 10/4/17 at 12:51 pm to saintsfan22
Why would you want narcisse to play behind that crap of a offensive line after he tore both acls. Let him learn the playbook and get the offensive line better for next year and see what happens.

Defense gets a ton more snaps than offense right now.

I guess Ponamsky is paying you per post to troll the board and you're not on salary.

Why couldn't he play both? F Back this year and safety next year when battle graduates. Just because he wanted to play F Back this year to get on the field doesn't mean he is confined to that position.

Does it make sense to stunt his development at safety for 1 play a game at F Back?

He may have agreed to that move but I doubt he wanted to move there. WR? Sure.

The guy has no control over the program whatsoever.

You never know til you move him there. Good thing our coaches weren't worried about stunting josh reed development at RB when they went ahead and moved him to WR.

Stunt his development? He's currently practicing with the 2s. He needs to practice with the starting lineup.

Semantics. He lines up by the QB and motions out. He's now a WR with possibly a lb covering him. That's a huge mismatch.
I don't hate then trying that. But it's all a moot point because I guess he's going back to defense only
Posted on 10/4/17 at 1:20 pm to Mo Jeaux
If we had a competent passing game when he got here he wouldn't have to be moving safeties to WR to see if they could contribute. How many WRs left the program Bc we had NO ability to pass the ball Under miles and Cameron? The WR group is the worst it's been that I can remember. 20 years. Look orgeron takes all of the blame for these guys seemingly not playing hard. But the WRs suck. And that's not on him.

What's your excuse for O's crappy P.R. and staff management issues?

He could've been practicing there all season. You don't think missing those weeks of reps hurts his development?

No it's a different position.

more likely it means he has some development to do (perhaps unexpected) and they were trying to appease him rather than sitting him on the bench behind other freshman by putting him in a position that allowed him to play. Obviously, that also isn't working...so it's back to square 1 and develop over time at his natural position
ive spoken to him personally and he said he wanted to be the next all american safety at lsu.

And then F Back, then back to RB. Totally same situation.
