The OP from that link may have been right. He said to just give him a game or two off, he even threw in for a mid week game. Jacoby did sit a mid week game, right before Kentucky I believe. That is when the climb from .192 to .299 started.

It seems like he has been struggling his entire career at LSU except for a couple of months. I don't see him making it to the next level unless he becomes much more consistent.
