That he ever played with . Considering all the athletes Hester played with at LSU and in the NFL, that says a lot.

Joe Addai was nails. I will never forget how he absolutely wrecked Florida on the road . What a beast . When we talk about toughness, we need to start the conversation with Joe Addai. Mad RESPEK for Joe Addai.

He was injured a lot, never broke 1k yards in a season. So he doesn't get as much recognition as some of the others even though he's up there in all time yardage.

Plus, he runs like a wounded rhinocoraus.

One of my favorite LSU football players.

Eta: Ok, it's rhinoceros

Addai was overshadowed in Indianapolis by a more talented running back in Edgerrin James and Dominic Rhodes stole the show during their super bowl versus the Bears.

That TD against Florida in the swamp is one of my favorite LSU plays of all time.

Addai was one of my favorite backs. Just a natural RB. Great hands , great vision, always saw his cut backs. Great tiger.

He never played with James. James left for Arizona before Addai's rookie year. That's why Addai was drafted in the 1st round, to be James' replacement. He was honestly the perfect back for a Manning offense. Incredible blocker, tough son of a bitch, great catching out of the backfield, etc. As to Rhodes, meh, Addai had 80 yards rushing and 65 yards receiving in the super bowl. And he put up about identical numbers against the Saints in the super bowl several years later. Addai was also a pro bowler in Indianapolis.

He had a beastly super bowl game vs saints. I was happy for him but terrified everytime he touched the ball that day

I’m going with Chad Jones. Great defensive and special teams player. Dude even pitched in the CWS for a national championship LSU team.

It was always a treat to watch Joe run. He had great patience and vision, very good lateral agility and a good jumpcut. Watching Le’Veon Bell’s style brings back memories of Addai. He was an asset in the passing game, too.
