True to an extent, and it’s amplified because he’s a legacy.

I'd rather not, Tader, but you're free to do a comparison of all the receivers, if you wish.

We have someone less productive than Bech? The portal awaits.

Tell me what’s retarded about thinking Williams and Rattler are better QBs than JD?

Williams? No argument.

Rattler? Really? REALLY?

Too bad there’s no one to throw them the ball.

Do you really believe that Bech would be leaving if he thought his HS QB would be starting next year? They know this running QB is a Kelly thing from now on

Walker Howard is a mobile QB

Y’all are insane not wanting to see Howard throwing to Bech along with Nabers/BTJ/Hilton.

Taking JD was TERRIBLE for this program.

JD Transformed us from a 4-5 win team to a 9-win team

Remember all the negativity surrounding Kelly during our signing class and the spring? A terrible year would snowball that.

Now we seem to be an elite program again already.

His years at ND? Can you name one Walker type player he started?

Dayne Crist - best year 2033 yds, benched for Tommy Rees

Tommy Rees - career 7.4 ypa (sound familiar?)

Everett Golson - best year 114 rushes vs 256 comp, transferred to FSU

Deshone Kizer - career 264 rushes vs 422 comp

Malik Zaire - career 72 rushes vs 58 comp, transferred to UF

Ian Book - 361 rushes vs 728 comp

BK does not like, recruit, or play pocket passers. Its just not his thing

Walker Howard is the more athletic version of Rees/Book, bro.

He's a running/mobile QB

Look at this HS highlight video. Most plays he's running around

Howard is mobile, but he's not a runner; certainly not in the same stratosphere as Daniels.

I still think my favorite take in this thread is that Lincoln would welcome him on the team at SC

Ever think that’s because he couldn’t get dynamic wide receivers eligible at ND?

ND produced some NFL receivers while Kelly was there, bro.

They weren't LSU or Bama, but they did fine, with some legit freaks (Claypool, Will Fuller, etc.)

We lose Howard too, IMO, but not this cycle

Why would we lose Howard right before he's basically guaranteed the starting position?

No but Kelly has never had a QB as elite running as JD. JD is special in that regard.

Look at his recent QBs like Rees/Book. Mobile, small QBs. Just like Walker Howard

The more I think about it, I actually realize Bech is, indeed, under utilized.

He's dropped passes, punts AND kickoffs. A genuine triple threat.

Listen, I do think he has the potential to be pretty good, but he hasn't done anything to prove it this year. If he elects to stay at LSU, he'll have the chance to show it.

Yeah I was trying to reply substantively and not to shite on Bech but...YEAH.

Don't think USC will need to pick up guys like him, unless he admits H-Back is his best position and he bulks up 15 lbs.

UK, ULL, MSU, Houston, SMU, maybe TCU...those are in his wheel house.

The staff wanted to play him. He flopped for much of the season.

Since we’re speculating about transfers, I’d say it’s because Denbrock and CBK’s systems use a very mobile QB. I think they get that with Collins. Just spit balling though.

Howard is just as mobile as Collins and they are both more mobile than Hurley

Transfer portal is one of the worst things to happen to CFB. Now kids can just leave at a whim instead of having to stick a situation out and work hard.
