This does not surprise me. For 4 years now I've been saying neither of our QBs seem very smart. Yet everyone wanted to just assume Lee was "smart", "heady", "game manager", etc. Wonder why that is.
But to me, he's never looked smart. I know you can't completely judge a book by it's cover, but the dude just never appeared all that brilliant to me. Of course, neither did JJ but no one was trying to say how smart he was. Just goes to show we as fans really don't know anything about these kids. The assumptions some make are hilarious though.

Not really. I am just going with the flow and see how things pan out. LSU is in a good position at QB with three that I believe can play, and whatever happens, just happens.

I'm just tired of JL looking like a lost, whipped puppy on the sidelines now. Not saying he should see more playing time because of this. JJ's passing is finally up to starter's standards and he was our guy from the beginning. I just hope JL can enjoy this epic run and not pout about his playing time. Not saying he is, but that's all I see when he's on TV with his raccoon war paint.

He definitely does look a little depressed and down on the sidelines the last few games.
Disclaimer: As long as LSU wins, I couldn't care less if Lee (or any one player) plays another down in his career.
