After the first game of the season (a win over Houston), they interviewed Jalen. He had his typical game and was being discussed as a Heisman candidate. He seemed absolutely pissed and just kept saying they had to be better - the team needed to get better. He spent 3 years around Bama and saw the talent level he had around him. 1 game in at OU, he knew things were different.

I remember this.

He knows what it's supposed to look like. And they don't have that at Oklahoma.

Part of me is nervous because it’s their 4th playoff trip and they are 0-3. Just the law of averages tells you Lincoln will get one eventually and have the balls bounce his way.

Do you know anything about the law of averages?

You don't have to answer that because we all know the answer is no.

Congratulations for being one of the biggest douchebags to post on here. That’s not easy to achieve, but you’re there.

LSU defense at the line of scrimmage is a little above average. LB are average for the SEC. Stingley and Fulton are probably the best CB duo in the country.

Delpit and Stevens are very very good. Delpit is finally healthy.

Tyler Shelvin the LSU nose tackle could turn this game into a rout. If Oklahoma can block Shelvin with one guy they will put LSU in some bad situations. No one else has been able to.

That's why I called the defense average, which you took offense to.

I didn't take offense -- simply disagreed. Your own statistic has them as #34, which is certainly not average.

I don't agree with this, either. Our offense is putting up better overall numbers, but our defense has won us more individual games than our offense. ISU is the only game you could make a case for the offense winning it, but the offense only put up 7 points in the entire second half. TCU, Baylor, and Texas were all defensive-dominant games.

keep in mind I'm a huge college football fan, but not a coach

Well, you pretty much nailed it as far as this non-coach fan can tell.

We’ll find out tomorrow. I think y’all will need to hold us under 35 to have a shot. Only Auburn has been able to pull it off so far.

Other than LSU outscoring my prediction in the first half, I think this was pretty spot on

CeeDee Lamb is a guy I’m glad we won’t have to face again. He’s ridiculous. Good luck in the future Sooners! History says you’ll eventually win one if you keep making the playoffs.
