In big games you cant even stand shoulder to shoulder you have to stand at an angle or in the rows. In bad games there are probably 15-20 people for each 10 seats and in big games 25-30

Every fan inside the stadium and outside the stadium and the ones watching at home are the worst fans in the nation.

I have had a state trooper full on grab my crotch 7 times now last time being the North Texas Game
Last year at the Arkansas game the trooper made me take off my boots and show him they were empty took me an 1.5 hours to get into the game.
I never sneak in alcohol because my girlfriend just puts a soft flask in her bra but the frisking I have received would make the TSA blush

I'm sure half the people who will contribute to this thread did not even attend LSU for one. Secondly, it's not our fault the AD scheduled Idaho and UNT for two of the first few games. Why should anyone be subjected to sit and watch that entire bloodbath when we can get back to drinking?

You are correct! LSU policy and power tripping state troopers.
My gf and I upgraded student tickets for the opener to sit with friends.My gf never sat in the student section before and was mortified how poorly the students were treated. We were in a line about an hr before kickoff with a host of others. Police were shouting in her face to move this is not a line all while smothered by others and couldn't move an inch. Then comes the search...
It's not a stretch to have some students say screw it and not attend the games after being treated like a criminal.
I certainly do not blame students for not wanting to donate when they graduate after being treated so poorly.

I get that.
But what you fail to realize is your part in defining LSU ENDED when you graduated and you weren't a part of the university anymore.
Sure, you continued your support.
But that doesn't mean your role is in any way compreable to what it was when you were a student.
It may make you feel better to think that students are just the lowest rung of a community ladder that you still are climbing via TAF donations.....but it is just wrong.
If you need any evidence, just look at how fluid "traditions" are
There are relatively few true mainstays.

It all comes down to what the individual values more. Watching football (regardless of score or opponent) or drinking and socializing.
Both are free to do as they wish. I mean, I never understood it and leaving early as I'd choose football over that any day of the week. But some don't so...

Something should be said about how the officers run the joint as well. Power happy cops who love to trash on the students need a reprimand more than anything

Enough! This is America. I'm so tired of all the whining about what other people do and if they are worthy of this and that. I love LSU and I love the students. If anyone wants to leave early so be it. its their life and their choice. seriously stop judging. times change and life is cyclical.... sometimes I stay and sometimes I don't. I think it sucks that LSU moved the student section. personally freaked me out and made me realize that now we have a big time program and its much bigger than the traditions or me. changed the whole vibe of TS. pretty sure no one cares if I'm there except the haters who want my seats.
PS shorten the season and stop booking all these crappy games to make more money, build some parking garages so I don't have to walk 2 miles to my car to sit in crowded seats that I pay $3800/yr for and I'll go back to staying until the end.
