It's time to accept this team

This roster is full of well coached and hard working kids. They are beginning to achieve their potential and improve weekly.
Will we win a national champ, probably not. However it's looking like a big season with opportunities to really get in the mix and take down a top team.
I'm enjoying this season, it's been a pleasant surprise.

I accepted this team since the late 70's

I agree.
I have been more than critical of the offense but last night's performance was a bright ray of sunshine, albeit against a pitiful defense. We demonstrated what this team is capable of with better play calling and execution.
Also, the defense shut down a legitimate high powered offense.
This Tiger team is a work in progress but it's improving.

This thread is 5 weeks too late. The subject has been beatened into the ground. No reason to keep trying to lead these horses to the water. You’re trying too hard, caring about people that doesn’t make a difference at this point.

I’m definitely enjoying this season. This team is really fun to watch and it’s a shame that there are so many fans that can’t simply enjoy watching our team play.

There was a lot of blind criticism on here in the off season. O is not qualified. Ensminger hasn't run his Offense for 20 years. Ha Ha Ha
Those fans are football illiterate and are the disease that has permeated the LSU fan base. These are the same ones leaving the stadium at halftime so a national audience can see LSU ain't what it used to be.

I admit to being a nega-o-tiger, but always want the team to do well and could not be happier with this season. Also, I will admit to crediting O and staff with doing an extremely solid job to this point. Aside from periodic offensive inconsistency, LSU looks like a really good team.

Yep, just take it game by game, makes it so much enjoyable. I try to keep from making too many projections and just go with it.

If you’re not happy with this team so far, then your expectations are out of whack.
Is this is the most well rounded team we’ve had in a long time? Seems like it to me.
The only thing missing is a for-sure NFL level running back.

Go back to one of your post ,I responded to a while back. You were being very positive and were getting rocked by othe posters. Jury still out but as you stated and I agreeded with , O got us some very talented big uglies. Hope people can see you win and lose games in the trenches. We were once playmaker U but didn’t have big bodies to open the lanes for them to run through. To you sir,

Running game doesn't really have a big play guy like we're used to. I'm happy with a solid 5-6 yards though.
