How did it take this far into the thread for someone to say this? Holy smokes how could one not see the differences between WSH and CIN?

Burrow took his team to a Superbowl with a horrendous team and nearly won the thing. Jayden has taken great strides on a team that has a better foundation then the Bengals have had. Jayden also has a great coaching staff. I hope Joe gets the hell out of Cincy and finds a home with a competitor.

There is one quality Burrow showed that Jayden has yet to. At money time, Burrow got even better. Jayden has not had the opportunity to really show that thanks to Matt House. Other than that, Jayden is clearly better.

But Jayden has a better OL and defense than Joe has had in any year.

Does jayden have a better oline or does he just make it look better than it is by covering up the warts with his quick decision making and elite running?

Please elaborate. The once fired dan quinn, who was fired by the falcons after a 2nd straight losing season or kilff, who was just fired by the cardinals? The same kliff that had a losing record at texas tech?

Have you not watched this year in crunch time of almost all their games?

Burrow threw for 4,918 yards this year, LEADING the NFL as well as 43 touchdowns, LEADING the NFL. Why try and make this argument? Because the Bengals defense sucks?

Jayden isnt held in higher regard at lsu because his defense sucked. Do you disagree?

And i dont agree with either of those sentiments. This thread is alot more because of what jayden has done this year, and is less to do with the bengals record. I can look beyond records

. If Burrow had any defense in the first 8 games of the season, the Bengals would be hosting the AFC Championship Game.

Daniels doesn't have a D and is in the NFC Championship, with a weaker set of offensive talent around him.

Burrow's #2 WR may be better than JD's #1, and while Cinci has OL issues, Washington's is worse. The RBs are effectively equal.

The team Burrow took to the AFC title game was STACKED compared to either team

Burrow didn't have a great defense either, although it was a lot better than the one in Jayden's second year. Yet, he just scored more than the other team when he had to, oh, and he never lost in the championship year. So to try and imply that Jayden is unjustly being snubbed as the best QB ever at LSU is just ridiculous. Although he had a phenomenal year, he still wasn't able to just outscore every team as the defense shite the bed, had he done that, there would be a legitimate argument then.

Burrow if he had the oline that Jayden has would be like nothing this league has ever seen.

Guys, the Washington OL is fricking garbage.

The Washington D is also garbage.

The discussion can't even begin until y'all leave fantasy land

What I saw clearly tonight that I hadn't realized before was specifically watching Detroit's LBers indirectly open up lanes/zones for Washington's receivers or RBs time after time bc Detroit's LBs were in the box (or blitzing) worried about Jayden running free.

Just JD being on the field is a threat that changes coverages/defensive gameplans and there's not an official stat JD gets for that, well, other than a W.

This is why we had a running game by RBs in 2023, FWIW. JD made our shitty running/blocking system work for the RBs due to what you posted.

Well, the argument for Burrow on here (ignoring the lies/fantasy) is based on a similarly small sample size (his 1 SB run)

The Burrow boys have created a meme where his team is made up of high school level players while Jayden playing on a team coached by retreads that previously won 4 games is full of elite talent

I don't even think JD is better than Burrow, but I'm not going to lie about Burrow's circumstances to make the argument.
