Don’t care how it compares, all I know is that it is incredibly impressive what Jayden Daniels is doing. Glad and lucky that he was a Tiger.

But it’s not going to Patrick Mahomes house and beating him for a chance to go to a Super Bowl.
Thats one game where mahomes basically threw up on himself. It wasnt because burrow out up 40 on the chiefs. It was impressive, but that felt more like the chiefs losing it. Jayden is doing this with one decent weapon everyone gave up on 3 years ago, mclaurin. Who else does he have to throw to? A washed up ertz? Burrow has chase and higgins

Burrow just had an S tier season
What? He had Chase/Jefferson/Marshall/Moss/CEH to throw to. He they all needed each other to make that great season happen and I wouldn't hold it against any of them, but imagine watching Burrow try to do that with lesser talent.
Put Jayden on that team and see how much of a cheat code he turns into.

Hard to say. Both have been impressive. JD has had a better rookie year. Burrow had a pretty good rookie season, but got hurt in the 10th game. Also Cincy only won 2 games the year before Burrow got drafted, so that was a really rough team he joined.
Regardless, JD is leading his team deep into the playoffs and that is incredible to do as a rookie. Even more impressive doing it with Washington... Dude is just a flat-out playmaker passing and running. The sky is the limit for him if he stays healthy.

Seems that jayden has more intangibles for the pro level

Trouser trout is beating his husband tonight

Certainly better than Caleb Williams.

Until JD wins a SB, this is not a question. If Burrow had any defense in the first 8 games of the season, the Bengals would be hosting the AFC Championship Game.
JD is special for sure. The defense getting 5 turnovers helped a lot

Daniels is an extremely accurate passer that makes great decisions.
Daniels runs the ball as well as any qb has ever run it.
Because of those 2 things, defenses are so caught up in stopping JD that the field is wide open a lot of times when someone else has the ball.
And on top of all this Daniels has a level of poise and clutch that I have never seen out of a rookie QB.
Burrow is my favorite qb ever. But I can see Daniels passing him up as a pro. Maybe not right this second, but it can definitely happen.

So daniels has to win a Super Bowl but burrow doesn’t?
Posted on 1/18/25 at 10:46 pm to josh336
Too early to tell but still telling this is even a topic. I never thought anyone would ever even come close to Burrow but here we are.
Posted on 1/18/25 at 10:48 pm to josh336
it can be made, but also I dont think he is.
Burrow just has an amazing season.

Go to a Super Bowl first and we’ll debate

Burrow took his team to the SB. JD has not yet. If JD takes Washington to the SB and loses, then he is not better. How hard is that to understand? I never said Burrow does not but Burrow took Cincy to the SB. Had the refs not thrown a phantom BS penalty, Burrow would have a SB ring.

So you dont look at qb accomplishments, but only team accomplishments?
You think terry bradshaw is a better qb than dan marino?

A lot less weapons . Burtow has the two receivers , Hendrickson and … the running back has developed . Defense has always been hot garbage . Owner is cheap .

That was for that non call on Higgins offensive PI facemask on rams db before the half.

You going to compare a rookie QB to someone who has been in the league for 5 years? One who has taken his team to a SB and another AFC Championship Game to one who had just taken his team to 1?
Jesus Christ. JD is good. Burrow is established as one of the top QBs in the league. Let's see what JD does next week and in the next 5 years.
