It isn’t his fault Sloan sucks cock by choice and BK don’t bench him.

He did however cost us 21 points at least yesterday

So, Nuss misses two wide arse open TD passes which resulted in a loss of 11 points. Therefore, Sloan got us 31 points even with this catastrophe and would have won the game.

The only issue I have is Kelly allowing Nuss to play in the first place. Injury or not, in either case, Nuss playing is objectively wrong. He clearly believe VB is terrible.

He’s injured. That’s on CBK playing him

Brady couldn't win with this offense, unless he changed every play called by the OC at the LOS

It is obvious that Nussmeier has some sort of abdominal injury. They are trying to get him to play through. But he cannot push the ball down the field. I don’t remember one time where he has hit an open receiver on a deep ball in stride.

It really sucks because this was supposed to be his year, but the fact that this offensive line is terrible and he can’t make the throws we need to open up. This means the only option is to bench him and put in the mobile back up and hope that he can create offense with his legs and his strong arm

We have a buy week so if you’re going to make a drastic change, you have to do it this week and hope that it gives you the spark you need

This defense is too good to not try something drastic because we only need to score 25+ points per game and just have a few long sustained to drive to let the defense rest

This is a championship caliber defense

Figure something out on the other side of the ball or we are going to lose multiple games

Yeah I agree something’s not right with him, you don’t go from flicking 60 yard bombs against Georgia a few years ago to not being able to throw a 40

Yeah because did you see the coverage they could play because we had no run game?
The fact that y'all can't understand even 1 underlying factor as to why there was triple coverage in the first place.

Nuss had plenty of time to throw in to double, triple coverage yesterday.

Well this is stupid. Nuss carried the team last year. There’s obviously something wrong with him to go along with the fact our OL sucks donkey dick and gives up pressure against 3 man fronts allowing the defense to drop 8 guys into coverage. He’s throwing to 4 guys with 8 men in coverage. That’s why he’s constantly throwing into double or triple coverage. We have no running game whatsoever. Brad Davis and Joe Sloan are the problem.

Whose fault was it two years ago when the same coaches took a PAC-14 QB and turned him into a Heisman?

he was throwing duds into triple coverage even when he had all the time in the world. he is just a mediocre to poor quarterback playing in a league that demand superior talent.

When the defense has 8 guys in coverage all the WRs are doubled or tripled. Y’all have no clue what you’re watching

every throw is rushed

The plays took too long to develop given the pass rush, and his reads were too slow. Sloan should have adjusted to quicker developing plays, but I’m not sure he knows how. Nuss’s Judgment was off, but that is not new.

I said essentially the same thing responding on the LSU Score Board. Nussmeier is like an early 3rd day pick which means either 4th or 5th round. Unlike Burrow and Daniels who improved, Nussmeier is going backwards. He stares down his WR and I honestly believe pre-snap he has decided who to throw to. Some hideous examples from yesterday.
1) the INT over the middle...10 yards in front of that receiver was TE Sharp WIDE OPEN
2) the triple coverage almost INT on the sidelines...deeper there was another WR with separation along the SAME sideline
3) his passes are not accurate even when thrown to the right guy. The Hilton pass was horribly underthrown. The big gain on the first TD drive the receiver almost had to signal for a fair catch
4) his passes are thrown too late and as someone else says, he seems to panic after bad plays
5) his ability to escape a pass rush is non-existent...way too slow with his first couple of steps

About the only pass he can throw is the swing pass and the slant. His completion % is inflated by those very short passes to the side which the announcers say is LSU's attempt at a run game. I would try Van Buren at this point. Nussmeier's bus has broken down. And for those who blame the OL for HIS poor performance.... He has enough time but he is poor at scanning the field quickly (McElroy mentioned this). He is holding the ball too long because he can't make quick decisions.

I think it has to do with the preseason Heisman hype and adds with Gordon and NIL money . I thought they should have sat him for the second half . Another thing he does , that nobody mentions … he walks away from CBK when Coach wants a conversation with him . Disrespectful . Think that would work with Saban ?

I can't blame him for wanting to play but I sure as hell blame Kelly for letting him lose the game by not pulling him at the half. MVB might have been a disaster but at least he would have been a different disaster.

Throwing into triple coverage when his oline gave him time is his fault. The loss isn’t all on him but he takes his share of blame
