Hallman was never likable, went 2-9 and never had a winning season.
It's over for O now and rightly so, but O somehow managed to give LSU something they dreamed of for a long time - a team that reached their full potential with no disappointments during the season. The fall has been impressive, but the height we got to was even more impressive because almost no one except the biggers homers on earth predicted that kind of peak under O.

At LSU you have incredible resources and recruiting advantages. To piss it away to bottom feeder status in the SEC after a natty shows you are horrible at your craft.
O was exposed as the 3-21 SEC record Ole Miss coach and if left here another year we’d be 1-7 or 0-8 in league next year.

Still can’t believe we’re going to pay this guy 17 million. I still think they could’ve fired him for just cause and negotiated a settlement on 1/3 of what he’s getting.
Alleva may have hired him but it was Woodward who gave him that monster contract. Woodward can’t afford to make a mistake now. This will be our second coaching staff we’re paying not to coach LSU football. The payroll of this next staff will be astronomical. Woodward needs a home run hire more than ever- a hire which will excite the fan base. Peter King said it best - “this Orgeron thing is crazy”.
