You're right. It's tougher in a variety of ways: Not having an offseason to install your own plays, holding together a recruiting class, keeping players focused, handling media, earning respect of players, etc.

Maybe it's tougher, maybe it's not. Expectations are generally lower. Regardless, it's a different skill set.

No, it is tougher. It's being a head coach on steroids. All the same responsibilities as a head coach. How is it a different skill set? Hiring the right guys, sure. Coach ahs plenty of connections to reel in great coaches (i.e. pete jenkins) What else?
We know he can recruit. We know he can delegate. He can coach up a defense. What else?
