So are you willing to admit you were full of shite or is your argument that 450 ypg is not as good as 348 ypg? I'll hang up and listen

I will humbly admit that in doing my research I completely forgot about his time at Tech and that I was wrong about Canada’s worst year being better E’s best. You were right and I was wrong.

Canada did ok considering the limitations he had at qb and the worst wr corps in 20 years. I would’ve been happy to have him back if he wasn’t the guy at work who when he gets a task he doesn’t wanna do runs around the office stirring shite saying “this wasn’t in my Job description” instead of just sucking it up and not stating shite.

Hard to tell his true worth as an OC since it’s been speculated multiple times he never got to run his full playbook because the coaching staff and some of the players couldn’t understand the offense.

The game where a sunbelt team held us to 0 points in the first half.

And apparently almost every other game.

If you watched the games you could tell this wasn’t the offense
He ran at Pitt.

But suck off O he’s done so much good for the program.

The guy tells Wisconsin no? LSU no?

He has only been fired from NC State. Wisconsin's coach left. He has moved up you want him not to?

Orgeron acknowledged earlier this week that he made changes to Canada’s scheme, but he announced the offensive coordinator now has full control. Center Will Clapp on Tuesday said Canada delivered offensive players a message Monday: “We’re going to get back to us,” he told them.

This should tell you when Canada got control..

Second half Troy was Canada.

After that game was Canada with Ed controlling player personal.

If football professionals can't understand your system, then chances are, wet behind the ear 19 and 20 year old college players won't either. And if that's the case, maybe it's not a good offense to try to run. That's why I made the Lou Tepper joke earlier. He was famous for saying "my offense takes 4 years to really learn." Obviously it was a tongue and cheek comment, but it still applies. If your offense is that complicated and that difficult to learn, then you don't have a good offense for college football.

I guess players lie

Players said the Tigers played a different offense in the first half against Troy, one more similar to the scheme Steve Ensminger used last year as the interim coordinator.

the offense he ran at Pitt looked nothing like the offenses he ran his other 11 season as OC either. Maybe Nathan Peterman was just a lot better than he got credit for prior and he made Canada look like a lot better offensive mind than he actually is.

Good lord. You are the second poster who's done this. Me saying I don't think canada was good is not the same thing as me saying I like Orgeron. Stop putting words in my mouth, thanks

You watched Canada's offense for 11 years? Isn't part of Canada offense adjusting to players?

He had a different scheme for Brennan vs Etling even

The point still stands though, if that is truly what happened, O should have figured that out by vetting him, which clearly didn’t happen

ok, so explain this:
17 points and 341 yards against Florida
20 points and 363 yards against Auburn
10 points and 306 yards against Alabama
30 points and 281 yards against Tennessee
17 points and 399 yards against Notre Dame

- that's 5 of 8 games AFTER Troy with subpar offensive performances. Why does Canada gets a pass? Why did people want more of that next year? His offense certainly looked a lot different than Cam's did, but the end result wasn't all that different.

76% scoring in the red zone; 59% RZ TDs
- That's is flat out terrible and I surely hope you can see where Canada deserves criticism for his red zone struggles?

maybe so, and yes Orgeron deserves criticism for that, but I'd rather he cut bait now than try to fit a square peg in a round hole again next year. At least he recognized it wasn't working and mitigated the issue as quickly as possible instead of letting it bleed out like Les did with Cam for years.

He most certainly didn't have any control the ND game.

Are you really complaining about his offense vs Bama and AU?

The Tennessee game was a monsoon incase you don't remember we had a short field all night too. Hard to rack up yards when you start on the 50.

He does deserve criticism for redzone

Les and Cam were buddies, you know for a fact regardless of how Steve does this next year O isn’t firing him.

We totaled more yards this year and points than we did in 2016. Without fournette and with a very hamstringed Guice

I mean, he likely did. Why would you let a coach everyone knows your firing after the game call plays?
