This season we will finish either 8-4 or 9-3.

Next year we will also finish either 8-4 or 9-3.

Next year we’ll lose to Clemson, Bama, Ole Miss, and maybe one more.

It’s all so predictable.

Well, we are likely to be in rebuild mode on offense and the schedule is not favorable. That said, both Bama and OM should be breaking in new QBs.

LSU has been in rebuild mode since 2020 with no end in sight. I like to call this the never ending rebuild.

We have said repeatedly that a program inherited with 38 scholarship players that supposed to have 85, at minimum 60 on the roster with new class coming in

It’s like Inheriting a program that’s been put on probation for one full recruiting class

You simply just don’t fix something that bad quickly

We’re winning the SEC Championship game. It’s happening.

There is a reason for that:

Again…LSU football is a 9-3 regular season team each year, save for once every five or six years where they compete for a National Title.

It is who the program is.

We’ll lose to Clemson and Ole Miss. probably A&M. We’ll beat Bama next year. They’re really not in a great spot, we just can’t stop mobile QB’s this year and Nuss is flat out retarded

It used to be slightly predictable but not so much anymore. Too much transition in off seasons.

People don't want to hear that but it is certainly true statistically.

The following are the seasons with fewer than 3 losses by our last 4 coaches.

Saban - 2 of 5 seasons, his first was in his 4th season

Miles - 6 of 11 full seasons starting in his first season

O - 1 of 5 seasons only 2019 being better than 3 regular season losses

Kelly is 0 of 3 so far

Only one coach has been better than 3 losses for half his seasons, I think a lot of the people are pining for the guy they frequently call a retard.

It's too early- but what does this even mean?

This is the number of season that the coaches had fewer than 3 regular season losses.

I put

quote:

Better than a 3 loss regular season

above the list but perhaps I should expound on that a bit.

Sadly, the loss to Clemson is absolutely predictable. That first game and Kelly will say the same thing is happening over and over and we have to "coach them better".

Now do it for every SEC coach in the last 20 years. Losing less than 3 games is extremely hard in the SEC. Outside of Saban no one does it consistently.

It will be interesting to see if Kiffin can prevent them from becoming 2024 FSU, next year, assuming Kiffin is still there.

Ole Miss went all in on the 2024 season with a ton of upperclassmen.
