It's about the Off. Coord. CC and his play design and ability to coach these players up.

Mett, though a GREAT talent, can't display it with the success he had this year, if not for CC.

AJ could not have been the hero yesterday if not for the play design and and more important, the timing of the call. The perfect call in that situation.

We are in great hands whoever the QB is at LSU...as long as CC is here.

He is a heck of a coach and his play calling is good. I wouldn't go crazy just yet. Keep in mind he had 2 bad asses at WR. Those guys made at least 25 great catches this year... Landry is a pure stud.

Agree with your point...but we have had some seriously good wide receivers here in the past few years also. Don't think that trend will end any time soon.

these guys at QB are getting good coaching now I'd say. Going through progressions, finding the open man, and getting it done. Even if Beckham and Landry leave, I suspect we'll still have a nice stable at WR:

Dural
Leslie
Diarse
Spears
Dupre
Williams
Noil
Johnson

should be able to find some playmakers out of all of these guys

But the Rant told me Miles took over the playcalling again.

Agree. That is why I'm more optimistic about Jennings taking over next year, although it will be his first year. He will have had two springs and a season coached by Cameron, they also say he studies film extremely hard as if he was the starter. When you combine the right attitude(being coachable), with work ethic, a desire to win, and talent, good things will happen.

I disagree. Happy to have Cam, but 95% of freshmen QBs would have failed in that situation, Cam or no Cam. AJ is the real deal.

Completely agree. This team doesn't win 6 games w/stud as oc.

going forward, I think you'll see the ball spread out to more than just two receivers.

I don't expect Cam to stick around long. He maybe takes a head college job after next year or the year after. Enjoy him for while anyway.

We had Randy Moss and Cris Carter... it HAD to be a 2 receiver season. No one could consistently cover those guys. This season was an anomoly you just dont see receiver talent that elite on the field at the same time of their talent progression.

Mettenberger last season to this season is night and day of a difference. He had those same bad asses a season ago without Cam.

while i do think he has alot to do with it , i dont think my daughter could successfully run CC's offense. Don't discredit the recruiting process either with finding guys with the ability ,its not all Cam

also Jennings utilized everyone and was without one of these badasses.. was incredibly prepared. Cam is a difference maker. it's obvious in the results.

Yeah thanks to an NFL caliber defense, and when they needed to pull out one game offensively, they wet the bed.
